Mateo’s POV:
There she comes, down the not so long way. My smile always grow so much bigger every time I se her small, colourful figure coming down the rode. I really like to be together wit here, I know I have said that before, but she really is a good and nice person to be around.
I don’t know, maybe I have gotten some small feelings to her. Notting big, but I feel that I really can trust her and she always make me smile with that cute laughter and all the funny comments.
“Hey”, she said in an exiting tone, quickly walking to the store and opening it up.
“You seam really exited”, I said. Laughing a little while following her inside the store. Sitting down on the couch. I sat down on the chair on the other side of the table.
“Yeah, I really looking forward to the beach party” she said smiling with her whole face.
“I see, so some special you looking forward to meat?, I ask with a teasing voice, actually hoping she is going to say no.
“No, it’s just some friends, most of them are girls”, she said and laugh a little. A feeling of relief stream true my body. I don’t really know why, but that make me happy. The fact that she isn’t seeing some other person. But on the other side, why wouldn’t she have someone following her. She is pretty and kind, I guess every boy would be lucky to have on like her. That makes me a little sad. Yeah, she might have a lot of admirers around. Why would she like me? She just got to know me some days ago, and we are just friends. I’m just a stupid, spoiled celebrity, who gets everything I want. I don’t even know how to wash my own clothes. She have teased me a lot about that and I still need her help to do it. That is so embarrassing.
“Hmm, okay, so you don’t have any special ones?” I continue to tease.
“Nope”, she answer, waiting a little before she say “Why, should I?”, she asks looking at me with a curious and still cute face.
“Umm, you look like a girl who every boy could fall for”, I mumble. But I think she heard me. She smiled a little shy smile and looked down on her hands. I smiled a little too and I felt my face getting a little red of the fact that I actually said that I thought she was cute.
“I have actually newer had a boyfriend before”, she suddenly said. It was quiet and she said it in a nervous way, but I heard her. I looked up at her and she looked up at me at the same time. I smiled at her blushing face. She returned my smile with one of her own shy smiles. That made my cheeks get warm and I melted inside. She was so cute.
“I actually can’t believe that”, I said and looked at her with a curious smile.
“But it’s the truth, I have newer dated or kissed or been kissed or anything like that”, she said a little louder, but I could tell she still was a little shy and nervous about it.
“Oh, but it’s not to late”, I said and smiled to her. She seemed a lot calmer and not so shy anymore now.
“I hope not”, she said, giggling a little. That cute laughter made me melt even more inside, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Suddenly someone came to the store and Laya had to go and help them. I was a little sad that she had to go, but it was her job and I couldn’t hold her away from it, even how much I wanted. I probably had to go back to my cabin soon too, her grandparents might come back soon, and then she have to go home again.
But I have to do something before I go.
She was finished helping the people who came to the store and came back to me. I had gotten up from my seat and was now standing looking at her walking to me. I smiled and she did the same.
“So, I’m going back to my cabin now”, I said and her smile fade a little.
“Ok, se you tomorrow?”, she asked with hope in her eyes. I smiled and nodded her a yes. And her face lighted up in happiness.
“Shure, but you told me you hadn’t been kissed before, so her you go”, I said before leaning down to her, kissing her on the cheek and walked of. While I walked out the door I turned around to look at her. She was just standing there, frozen after what just happened. Before I turned around I saw her whole face was red like a tomato. I chuckled a little before smiling and walked back to my cabin.
I hope she didn’t freak out. Or maybe she didn’t liked it, I hope she did. If not, it would be so awkward tomorrow.
Wait, it would be awkward either way.
