Mateo’s POV:
Something with Laya is different, she sometimes seems so blocked out, like she always is thinking about something. And she has become more silent. Sometimes it looks like she tries to see my whole face, or se through me. She keeps staring at me, when she think I’m not looking, but since I have sunglasses, I can see her.
O no, I hope she don’t have figure out who I am.
Or maybe that’s a good thing, if she has figure it out and haven’t freaked out yet, she might be OK with it. And then maybe I can show her and make her promise not to tell anyone. She seems like a nice and trustful girl.
Yeah, I have to do that before the time we spend together became more awkward. I really like to be together with her, and she needs to know the truth. What of a friend am I if I continue to lie in her face? She deserve to know the truth.
When I see her tomorrow morning, I will tell her.
Yeah, before all the other people on the camping start coming, I tell her.
OMG, I’m so nervous, hope she still likes me, and want to keep my secret safe.
