Laya’s POV:

I woke up to the same beautiful song by Mateo. I felt someone beside me and opened my eyes to find a sleeping Mateo. His hand wrapped tightly around me. I smiled to myself and took out my phone to turn of the alarm. The clock was 7 and I had one hour before I had to be on the camping. I should get home soon. My parents would have freaked out if they knew where I was and what I was doing. I tried to get out of Mateo’s grip, but it only made him tighten it and bringing me even closer. I giggled a little and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled and slowly opened his eyes.

“I wish I could wake up like this every day” he said in a raspy morning voice. It was actually a bit sexy. I siled and pecked his lips before getting up. He sat up and looked at me while smiling.

“I have to get home” I said while he stood up. “My parents would kill me if the found out that I had slept outside the whole night. Specially if they knew it was with a boy” I laughed a little and he did too.

“Yeah, you go home and I can clean up here. Then I can meet you outside your house when you are ready and we walk down together” He said and smiled. I nodded and start walking home.

Luckily the door wasn’t locked and I easily went inside and up to my room. I found some new clothes and went in the shower. I got ready and walked downstairs to get something to eat. I soon finished and walked outside again to see Mateo. He was standing there with the picnic bag and his guitar. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

“you look really nice today, like always” He said to me and I blushed a deep shade of red.

“Thanks, not so bad yourselves, even with that morning hair” I said and chuckled a little. He laughed too and ruffled his hair more before we start walking down to the camping.

When we came down I went to open the store while he walked back to his cabin to put away the picnic bag and the guitar. After a while he came back. He had also changed from the clothes he wore yesterday.

(Laya and Mateo's outfits) ->

“Looking good” I smiled and laughed a little while he took a pirouette to show of his outfit. He laughed too and sat down on the bench outside the store.

We sat outside the store, just talking. Since the sun was shining bright today, it was really warm and we could sit outside without using jackets.

“So, I’m thinking of using the song I made for you on my next album” Mateo told me and smiled.

“Yeah, you really should, it was amazing and I loved it” I said and smiled back while blushing a little.

“Yeah, I have some ideas on other songs too, but they aren’t finished yet”.

“Cool, I would loved to hear them” I kissed his cheek and smiled. He smiled too and nodded.

We continued to talk about the songs and we decided that I should help him with them. I said that I didn’t know that much about how to write a song. Even if I had tried to write a song some times; but they was never good.

Some minutes later my grandparents came down and I walked home. I told my parent’s that I was staying with Janelle; that didn’t lived to far from the camping, and that I would be gone till tomorrow. They approved. Since it didn’t was that long of a distance between her and me, I could just walk to the camping in the morning so I didn’t miss the job, and my grandparents had to do it for me.

I packed a bag with some clothes and everything I needed for a sleepover. I brought it with me when I went to the camping in the afternoon.

But you did understand that I wasn’t gonna stay with Janelle, right? I was gonna stay with Mateo. And we were gonna work on the songs he talked about. I was so exited. It’s not many people that got the change to help a world known superstar write a song. And by some incredible reason I became one of the lucky ones.

I was almost jump walking the whole way down to the camping. So excited was I. When I finally came down I opened the store and did everything I had to, like always. Mateo came over for a little while, but it was kind of busy today, so he went back to his cabin so he didn’t got recognized. I told him that I would come over when I was finished. Finally my grandparents came down and took over the work. I start walking the way that led to where Janelle lived, but when I came out of sight to the store I turned and walked inn to the camping from a different angle. Then I took the long way to Mateo’s cabin. Luckily it wasn’t so near the store, so it was a smaller chance that my grandparents would see me. Finally I came to the cabin and knocked on the door.
