With the collaboration between Becky's class and the hospital specialists, the project to work with autistic kids was finally underway. Becky and her classmates, along with Freen, gathered at the hospital, eager to begin their interaction with the children.
Becky watched in awe as Freen effortlessly engaged with the kids, her skill and patience evident in the way she interacted with each child. Freen's genuine love and understanding for the kids shone through, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
Classmate 1: (whispers) Wow, Freen is amazing with the kids. I've never seen someone connect with them so easily.
Classmate 2: (nodding) Yeah, she has a special way of making them feel heard and understood. It's inspiring to watch.
Becky couldn't agree more. Freen's ability to educate and socialize with the autistic kids was remarkable. She observed as Freen told a hilarious story, mimicking the characters' voices and acting out their actions. The children were captivated, their laughter filling the room.
Freen: (in a playful voice) And then, the silly rabbit tried to hop backwards, but he tripped over his long ears and fell into the mud!
The kids giggled uncontrollably, their eyes glued to Freen as she continued the animated story. She used gestures and facial expressions to help the children understand and relate to the tale.
Becky: (whispers to Freen) You have an incredible gift with them, Freen. They're loving it!
Freen: (whispers back, smiling) Thank you, Becky. I just want them to feel joy and happiness during our time together.
As the program continued, Freen incorporated the kids' interests and favorite cartoon characters into the activities. She skillfully used these characters as a means of teaching them important social and communication skills.
Freen: (to the kids) Who wants to be superheroes like Captain Amazing and save the day?
The kids eagerly raised their hands, excited to participate. Freen led them in a role-playing exercise, where they pretended to be superheroes, using their "superpowers" to solve everyday social challenges.
Becky noticed how engaged and enthusiastic the children became. Gone were the tantrums and restlessness; instead, the kids were fully immersed in the activities, each one feeling like a superhero.
Chin: (impressed) Look at how well they're responding to Freen. It's like she has a magical touch with them.
Yha: (admiring) She's so patient and understanding. I wish I had her gift with kids.
Becky felt a sense of pride and gratitude for Freen's involvement in the project. It was evident that Freen's presence had a positive impact on both the children and her classmates.
As the day came to a close, the kids said goodbye to Freen with big smiles on their faces, happy and content from the day's activities.
Becky: (to Freen) You were incredible with them, Freen. I've never seen the kids so engaged and happy during our project.
Freen: (humbly) Thank you, Becky. It was a joy to work with them, and I'm glad I could contribute to this wonderful project.
As they exchanged warm smiles, a sudden commotion from the kids caught their attention. A group of children, caught up in their excitement, accidentally pushed Becky, causing her to lose her balance.
Freen's reflexes kicked in, and without a second thought, she reached out and caught Becky, preventing her from falling. In that moment, they found themselves wrapped in each other's arms, their eyes locking in a deep and intense gaze.
