Irin had been persistent in her efforts to convince Becky to join her and her girlfriend on a trip to the beach. She believed it would be the perfect escape for Becky, a way to unwind and take a break from the stress and emotional turmoil of recent events.

"Come on, Becky," Irin pleaded, a playful glint in her eyes. "You really need this. A few days by the beach, soaking up the sun, and just letting go of everything. It'll do wonders for your soul."

Becky shifted uncomfortably, her hesitation evident. "Irin, I appreciate the invitation, I really do. But I don't want to intrude on your trip with Noey. I'd feel like a third wheel."

Irin waved her hand dismissively. "Oh, come on! You won't be a third wheel at all. Noey has a friend who's joining us, so it'll be a fun group. Besides, you and Noey have never really spent time together, right? This could be a great opportunity for you two to bond."

Becky bit her lip, still unsure. "Irin, I'm not sure if I'm up for it. I mean, I'm still dealing with everything and I don't want to bring anyone down."

Irin's expression softened, and she reached out to gently squeeze Becky's hand. "Becky, I understand that you're going through a tough time. But sometimes, a change of scenery and spending time with friends can really help lift your spirits. No pressure, okay? Just think about it."

Becky sighed, feeling torn. She did want to get away from it all, even if just for a little while. And the idea of getting to know Noey better was intriguing. Maybe it was time to take a step out of her comfort zone.

"Okay, Irin," Becky finally relented, offering a small smile. "I'll go on the trip. But I'm warning you, I'm not the most fun person to be around right now."

Irin laughed and gave Becky a reassuring hug. "Trust me, we'll make sure you have a good time. And who knows, maybe some fun by the beach is exactly what you need."

Becky felt a lump form in her throat, touched by Irin's words. She knew Irin was right - she needed to take a break and allow herself to heal from the pain of her breakup with Nop. "Okay," she finally said, giving Irin a small smile. "I'll go on the trip with you."

Irin's face lit up with excitement, and she pulled Becky into a tight hug. "That's the spirit! You won't regret it, I promise. And hey, I have a little surprise for you too."

Becky raised an eyebrow, curious. "A surprise?". Irin grinned mischievously.

Becky POV

As I finished packing my bags for the trip, I couldn't shake the feeling of sadness that had settled in my heart. I knew it was my fault for avoiding Freen and not responding to her messages, but I couldn't help but miss her. It was strange not receiving her daily chats and updates about her day. I had grown so accustomed to our constant communication that not hearing from her now felt like a void in my life.

I picked up my phone and looked at it, hoping to see a message from Freen, but there was nothing. A sigh escaped my lips as I realized that maybe she had finally given up on me. Maybe she had found someone else who could give her the love and attention she deserved, someone who wouldn't be so confused and distant like me.

The thought of Freen being with someone else made me cringe. I didn't want to admit it, but deep down, I couldn't stand the idea of her with anyone else. I cared about her more than I wanted to admit, and seeing her move on would only remind me of what I had lost.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts and focused on finishing my packing. I needed this trip with Irin to get away from all the complicated emotions swirling inside me. I needed time to figure out my feelings and what I truly wanted.

As I boarded the plane with Irin, I tried my best to enjoy the trip. We laughed, took pictures, and made new memories together. Irin was right; this trip was a much-needed escape from the chaos in my mind.

The airplane engines roared to life, and Becky settled into her seat, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling that had been gnawing at her. She glanced out the window, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of the upcoming trip. Despite her efforts to distract herself, her thoughts kept drifting back to Freen.

As the flight attendants went through the safety demonstration, Becky absentmindedly checked her phone, half-expecting a message from Freen. However, there was nothing. She sighed inwardly, berating herself for the awkwardness that had grown between them. She missed their chats, their easy conversations that had become a comforting part of her routine.

Lost in her thoughts, Becky was jolted out of her reverie when a figure wearing a hoodie took the seat beside her. She glanced at the person, noting that they seemed to be trying to keep a low profile. She couldn't see their face clearly, but Becky didn't think much of it and returned her gaze to her phone.

As the plane took off, Becky felt a gentle weight against her shoulder. Startled, she turned her head to see the hooded figure leaning against her, seemingly asleep. Becky's heart raced, unsure of how to react. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, torn between wanting to be polite and not wanting to encourage this closeness.

The flight continued, and Becky tried to focus on a book she had brought along, stealing occasional glances at the mysterious figure beside her. She felt a mixture of sympathy and annoyance - the person must be really tired, but their actions were making her uncomfortable. She couldn't help but wonder if they were doing this deliberately or if it was just a coincidence.

As the flight attendants wheeled the refreshment cart down the aisle, Becky took the opportunity to discreetly adjust her position, creating a bit more space between herself and the sleeping stranger. She hoped that this subtle gesture would encourage them to move away, but the person remained oblivious, their head still resting on Becky's shoulder.

Becky couldn't take it any longer. She cleared her throat softly and gently nudged the hooded figure. "Excuse me," she said, her voice carrying a mix of politeness and discomfort.

The girl stirred and lifted her head, finally revealing her face from under the hoodie. It was Freen. My heart skipped a beat, and I felt a mix of surprise and confusion. "Freen? What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to hide the emotions bubbling inside me.
