Becky POV

After spending the day exploring and enjoying the activities in Koh Samui, I returned to our suite with Freen. As Noey and Irin decided to have some private time at the beach, it left Freen and me alone in the room.

As I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, I tried to focus on my skincare routine, hoping it would distract me from the swirling thoughts in my mind. I could feel Freen's presence in the suite, and it was hard not to be aware of her every move. There was an unspoken tension between us, one that I couldn't quite put into words.

I splashed some water on my face and applied my moisturizer, trying to calm my nerves. Why was I so nervous around Freen? It wasn't like we hadn't spent time alone together before. But something had shifted between us since her confession, and I couldn't help but feel on edge whenever we were alone.

As I started washing my face, I caught a glimpse of something scurrying across the floor. My heart skipped a beat, and my eyes widened in terror as I realized it was a cockroach.

"Aaah! Oh my gosh, no!" I shrieked, jumping back from the bathroom. My mind was racing with fear, and I couldn't bring myself to get anywhere near the cockroach.

Just as I was about to leave the bathroom, I remembered that Freen was still in the suite. "Freen! Freen, there's a cockroach in the bathroom! Help!" I called out, my voice trembling.

Moments later, Freen appeared at the bathroom door, concern etched on her face. "What's wrong, Becky?" she asked, but before I could respond, she saw the cockroach scuttling across the floor. Her eyes widened, and she let out a small yelp of her own.

"Oh my goodness! It's a cockroach!" Freen exclaimed, mirroring my terror. I couldn't help but feel a little relieved that I wasn't the only one who was scared.

As the cockroach continued to move around the bathroom, Freen and I found ourselves hugging each other tightly, trying to find comfort and support in each other's presence. "What do we do, Freen? I can't handle this!" I said, my voice trembling.

Freen took a deep breath, trying to muster up some courage. "Okay, we can do this. Let's try to get it out of here," she said, trying to sound confident.

As much as she was scared, it was clear that Freen was determined to help me. I nodded, holding onto her for support as we slowly approached the cockroach. Freen grabbed a tissue and tried to gently shoo it away towards the door.

But the cockroach seemed to have other plans. It scurried in the opposite direction, and Freen and I let out another round of screams and laughter, feeling a mix of fear and amusement.

After a few attempts, Freen managed to guide the cockroach out of the bathroom and towards the balcony. She quickly closed the bathroom door, trapping the cockroach outside.

"Oh my gosh, we did it!" Freen said, a mix of relief and excitement evident in her voice.

Freen POV

My heart was pounding as I heard Becky's panicked voice coming from the bathroom. "Freen! Freen, there's a cockroach in here! Help!" she screamed. I felt a surge of fear and panic, knowing how terrified Becky was of cockroaches. But I couldn't ignore her pleas for help.

I rushed to the bathroom and saw Becky standing on the other side of the room, her eyes wide with terror as she pointed at the cockroach on the floor. I glanced at it and felt a shiver run down my spine. I was just as scared as Becky, but I knew I had to try to help her.

"Okay, okay, let's try to calm down," I said, trying to sound more composed than I felt. "We can do this together."

Becky nodded, still holding onto me tightly. We took a deep breath, trying to gather our courage. "What should we do?" she asked, her voice shaking.

"We need to get it out of the bathroom," I said, trying to think of a plan. "I'll try to guide it towards the door, and you can stand over there and make sure it doesn't come back in."

Becky nodded again, her grip on me loosening slightly as she stepped back. I took a tissue and slowly approached the cockroach, trying to shoo it towards the door. But the cockroach seemed to have a mind of its own, and it darted in the opposite direction.

"Ah! It's going the wrong way!" Becky squealed, and we both let out another round of screams.

"We can do this, just stay calm," I said, trying to encourage both of us.

After a few more attempts, I managed to guide the cockroach towards the door. Becky quickly closed it, trapping the cockroach outside.

"We did it!" I said, a mix of relief and excitement washing over me.

Becky let out a nervous giggle, still clinging to me for support. "Thank you, Freen. I don't know what I would have done without you," she said, her eyes still wide with fear.

I smiled, trying to reassure her. "You're welcome, Becky. I'm glad I could help."

We both took a moment to catch our breaths and calm down. I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Becky after facing our fear together. It was a small, silly thing, but it brought us closer.

In the middle of the night, Freen was awoken by a gentle touch on her shoulder. She groggily opened her eyes and saw Becky standing beside her, looking slightly frightened. "Freen, can you... can you accompany me to the bathroom?" Becky asked hesitantly.

Freen blinked, still half-asleep, trying to process the request. "Uh, sure, Becky. But why do you need me to accompany you to the bathroom?" she asked, trying not to sound too confused.

Becky blushed, feeling a little embarrassed. "I know it's silly, but I'm still a bit paranoid about that cockroach incident earlier. I just don't want to go alone," she admitted.

Freen couldn't help but smile at Becky's vulnerability. "Of course, I'll go with you," she said, sitting up and getting out of bed. She followed Becky to the bathroom, trying her best to stay awake and alert.

As they entered the bathroom, Freen turned on the light to make Becky feel more at ease. "See, there's no cockroach here," Freen said reassuringly.

Becky nodded, taking a deep breath to calm herself down. "I know, I know. It's just... I can't help but still feel a little scared," she admitted.

Freen understood. Fear could be irrational sometimes, and she didn't want to dismiss Becky's feelings. "It's okay, Becky. I'm here with you, and I'll stay right outside the bathroom," she said, trying to offer as much comfort as she could.

Becky smiled gratefully, feeling a little better knowing Freen was there. "Thank you, Freen. I don't know why I'm being so silly about this," she said, a hint of frustration in her voice.

"It's not silly at all. We all have our fears and insecurities," Freen said, understandingly. "And if being there for you helps, then I'm more than happy to do it."

Becky blushed again, feeling touched by Freen's kindness.
