the turnpike exit reminds me of you, the stoplights and red cars, stick shifts, and west miami. i haven't been past your house in a year now and i don't think of you as often.but as butterfly wings flap i can't help but to thank you for our time together. for if it wasn't for you i wouldn't have learned what love could be.
