Katie was woken up by the sound of screaming.

"Yummy, I love eggs and bacon," said Natalie.-Ashley

The sound conveyed a primal fear, like someone was about to be stabbed 37 times. It was shrill and high-pitched, and it was coming from the next room.

Dr. Abner appeared wearing a purple and pink striped party hat.-Ashley

"What was that?" Natalie asked.

"I don't know, maybe this is like the Bates Motel or something?" Abner said. "No big deal for me, but your mom is gonna care if you get murdered, so..."

"Maybe...maybe someone was just watching a horror movie," Natalie said.

"Nah, I know what real screams sound like. After all, I work at a certain shady secret organization."

"You work at Cognito Inc?!"-Author

"Fair point. Should we, like, go?" Natalie said, a little fearful.

"Never L Bozo lol we should stay and get murdered because I'm a psychotic 101 or something year old man." Abner said.-Ashley

"LOL FOURTH WALL BREAK" Natalie said, about to explode from laughter.-Ashley

The detector started to die down a little. "Oh, guess the coauthor isn't doing anything weird anymore."

Just then, another scream sounded from the next room. This one was much deeper, and sounded like it could belong to Louis Armstrong or something.

"Guys, I think we should maybe probably definitely get the [EXPLETIVE] out of here," Natalie said.
