Hello, new friend

"Yeah, here it is" Chang-min said handling him the book. "You know you're the first person I've talked to in this city" The boy said, "Are you new?" Chang-min asked, "Yeah, I just shifted tomorrow from Busan" The boy replied, "Shouldn't you be unboxing your stuff right now instead of studying litrature?" Chang-min asked in confused tone. "Well, my parents said that they will unbox half and I'll do the rest once I reach home" The boy replied."So did you liked the people of Seoul?" Chang-min asked, "The first person whom I had a conversation with didn't told me her name" The boy replied,"And who is that person? " Chang-min asked squeezing her eyes."You" The boy gave a quick answer making Chang-min burst into laughter. After getting herself she said with a sweet smile "You know I was having a very pathetic day, but you made me happy" . "I always have a pathetic day, and you'll never see me crying, you still didn't told me your name" The boy replied. "It's Kim Chang-min, what's yours?" Chang-min said, "I'm Park Dae-hyun, I turned 15 years old last month on July 13th and I'll be admitted in Korean high of Seoul tomorrow and I used to study in Korean high of Busan earlier" The boy replied. "I also study in same school! " Chang-min exclaimed,"In which grade by the way? " She added, "Seventh grade" Dae-hyun replied, "Oh my God, me too" Chang-min said widening her eyes. "I don't know the section, it'll be good if I end up in yours" Dae-hyun said keeping the book in his bag because he had to borrow this book. Chang-min also kept the maths book with her and they headed having a talk. "You're my first friend" Dae-hyun said, "Of course, I'm the first person you met in Seoul" Chang-min replied. "No, I didn't had any friends in Busan too" Dae-hyun said again, "To be honest, you're my first friend too" Chang-min said in a sad tone. "It's okay, I'll accompany you forever" Dae-hyun said,"But this evening is not part of forever" Dae-hyun added,"Okay bye" Chang-min said with a little laugh and they separated their ways, Chang-min for her tution and Dae-hyun to his home.

Dae-hyun's POV
I won't be alone anymore, guess Seoul is a lucky place for me. I was walking when I saw a puppy looking at me, probably he was hungry. I went to a nearby store and bought some sausage for him, and of course it was the money mom gave me for metro but why have I got legs for, also I threw a party because I found a friend and that cute little dog was my guest. I wasn't knowing searching for this book will get me a friend. I was busy in my thoughts so I didn't realised when I reached home, but as I took the first step, a sudden wave of tension hit me. "Why are you so late?", It was my dad's voice and it was coming from behind me, but it was calm unlike when I used to come late earlier. He used to scream at me. I slowly turned behind and my eyes widened, he was holding a belt. I was scared, wanted to run and I was about too when dad spoke, "Dare to move and I'll make sure you wouldn't walk for months", and this made my legs numb. Suddenly I heard my mom's voice, "And I'll make sure you'll never be able to be late" My mom said as a harsh slap landed on my face making me fall on the floor, I also got a wound on my elbow. Then I received a kick on my shoulder from my dad which made me role on the floor till I hit the wall. I also got a wound on my head, I knew I was helpless which made me tear up, I somehow sat on floor and said "Please let me go, I'm sorry", hoping I'll be spared but my dad came and lifted me up holding my jaw, "Why?" he said in an intimidating voice, "I missed metro" I replied in small voice, "ticket" he said again, "I didn't bought it" I replied, "Where is the money then?" My mom asked, "I actually used it to buy sausages as I was hungry" I replied as I couldn't say the truth, I was afraid. Suddenly I received a punch in my stomach and I fell on floor. My dad started hitting me with his belt while my mom just kept watching. After 20 minutes I suppose they went inside their room leaving a boy with injured elbow, bruises everywhere on body which cannot be seen through clothes and ofcourse a wound on head behind and ofcourse that was me. I somehow got up and went inside my room. I closed the door and fell on my knees, I was hurt, not only physically but also emotionally. My parents were abusive towards me and their harshness kept increasing day by day and it was all because of me being week at studies. I was good at painting but they never cared, they only wanted studies. I put some ointment on my wound my self and went to window . I sat there and looked at the moon, it shines so bright and I remember studying in astronomy that sun makes the moon shine. If sun is moon's parent then moon is very lucky. I really try hard to smile outside and hide my pain, but it's getting difficult. Sometimes I want to die. I got up and opened a drawer and took out a paper cutter and placed it on my wrist, just one move and I'll leave this world forever then suddenly Chang-min's face flashed infront of my eyes and I threw away the cutter . How can I do this? I can't leave her alone, she doesn't have a friend except me after all, plus it's only been a few hours since we became friends

I was laying on my bed and admiring the moon. It has got a really good parent named sun which makes it shine so bright and with this thought I drifted into sleep
