"Yeah, I'll be so bored there, and cry after reaching home because of my mom for sure" Chang-min said on a call.
"Okay, so tell them you're sick and when they're gone I'll pick you up".
It was Dae-hyun she was talking to.
"What will we do once you pick me up?"
"I work in a club as bartender, so I can probably get you a drink for free"

"How much do you work? " Chang-min said in a worried tone.

"Enough to earn almost one hundred thousand won a month"
"You load trucks in morning, deliver food after school and clean cars, then work as a bartender till twelve, take care of yourself" Chang-min was more worried this time.

"You know I'm the most attractive bartender" Dae-hyun said with a chuckle.

"Next year you'll be the most panda looking bartender"
"Don't worry, I sleep"
"Two hours a day, right"
Chang-min had raised her voice a little this time.

"Don't worry, tell your family you're sick and when they're gone I'll pick you up" These were the last words of Dae-hyun before he hung the call.

"Why can't he take care of himself ?" Chang-min kept her phone aside and went out of her room to tell a lie to her family that she was sick...

"Yeah, it's better that you're sick. We're going to a expensive restaurant and there is no need of a useless like you", those harsh words left Mrs Kim's mouth as soon as Chang-min told them she was sick. "Don't be that harsh, shr must be genuine" Mr Kim interfered knowing it'll be a taboo if he doesn't. "Yeah, whatever, we three are ready and let's go" Mrs Kim said wearing her high pencil heels. She really looked like a classy and elegant lady, who was polite to everyone but Chang-min had faced the harsh reality.

Few minutes later Chang-min was was waving good bye to her family but she wasn't as excited as she was.

She messaged Dae-hyun and started to get ready. She wore a silk mini dress in colour pink and did light makeup and that made her look ethereal.

About fifteen minutes later Dae-hyun came to pick her up on his sports bike, which he had bought by his own savings. Chang-min sat behind him and they headed to the club.

The bike ride was silent. Just Dae-hyun focusing on road and Chang-min laying her head on his back When Dae-hyun decided to break the silence.

"How long will it take your family to reach the restaurant for dinner?"
"One hour atleast"
"Reaching to my club will take thirty minutes from your house and it's eight forty five now so I'll make sure to drop you home by ten, so your family won't find out"

Chang-min just hummed in reply and everything was silent again. After a bike ride of fifteen minutes they were standing at the main entrance of the club.

The board was glowing in the dark and it was written beauty sombre, loud music could be heard.

"What does that mean?" Chang-min asked looking at the headboard in awe. "Finally you spoke" Dae-hyun said with a chuckle.

"That's a French word"
"What does it mean?"
"Dark beauty"
"Why is it named dark beauty?"
"Because this club also shines in darkness of night like other clubs, so the owner decided to name it after something dark yet beautiful"
"Do you work here? "
"Yes I do "
"The music is too loud"

"Don't worry, you'll enjoy it once you get in" Dae-hyun said dragging Chang-min inside.

As they went inside the smell of sweat and alcohol hit their nostrils. Dae-hyun was used to it but Chang-min felt uncomfortable.

"Okay, so what would you like?" Dae-hyun asked Chang-min as she sat on bar counter.
"I've never drank before" Chang-min replied in small voice.
"Then have red vine, it's a good start" Dae-hyun said handing Chang-min a glass of red vine.
As she took a sip of it she choked with a burning sensation in her throat.
"Don't take big sips, take small ones. You're new to alcohol" Dae-hyun said in a caring tone just before some another worker approached him.

"Bro, those girls want you to serve them. Aera's way too troubled"The another worker said.
"I'm coming" Dae-hyun said and that worker went back to his counter.

"Take care" Dae-hyun told Chang-min and went to those women who were sitting with a very unpleasant expression on their face.

"What's up ladies" Dae-hyun greeted them as he mixed two drinks to make another one. "Where were you? Do you know how much I missed you?" One of those ladies said trying to act cute.
"That's why I prepared your drink first" Dae-hyun said handing her a glass of the regular drink that lady has. "And here are yours" Dae-hyun said serving the rest two.

"Dae-hyun, you're so strong. Why don't you show some of your strength?" One of those ladies said.
"What should I do to impress you princess?" Dae-hyun said mixing drinks for another customer.
"Drink this in one go" The lady said pouring tequila in a glass. It wasn't even two seconds when Dae-hyun chugged down whole glass of drink.
As he finished and put down the glass a hand of salt was presented infront of him, the hand belongs to the lady clinging over him.

Without a second thought he licked the salt of her hand and started receiving compliments about how hot he is but he forgot something. Actually about someone, who is watching them with pain in her eyes, it was Chang-min.

She put the glass on counter and started to walk towards the exit. Though Dae-hyun was busy flirting with ladies he still noticed Chang-min, and as he saw he rushed towards her.

"What happened? Where are you going?" Dae-hyun asked holding Chang-min's hand and pulling her back. "I don't feel good here" she replied being sad. "Let's go then, I'll ask owner for leave" Dae-hyun said dragging Chang-min with him. He made her sit on counter and went inside a room.

After nearly fifteen minutes he came out and said "We're going back".
He went outside to his bike followed by Chang-min.

They sat on bike, the whole ride was silent. Dae-hyun was focused on road and Chang-min couldn't stop thinking about Dae-hyun flirting with those ladies.

After half an hour they were standing infront of Chang-min's house. She was about to go inside when her phone ringed. It was a call from her dad.

After two minutes of conversation she hung the call with a worried expression.

"What happened you seem to be worried?" Dae-hyun asked with caring tone.

"My parents aren't coming home tonight, neither my sister" Chang-min replied.

"Let's go on a long drive" Dae-hyun spat out making Chang-min shocked.
"Wh-What? It's eleven pm" Chang-min said dumbfounded.
"No one is stopping us" Dae-hyun said pulling Chang-min towards him.

Having no choice Chang-min agreed for long drive, and after twenty minutes they were on highway and the speed was too much. It was making Chang-min scared.

"G-go slow, please"
"It won't be fun"

"I'm scared" Chang-min said tightening her grip around Dae-hyun's waist which actually made made him worried.
"You're actually scared" Dae-hyun said slowing down the speed.

The ride was silent again. There was something bothering both of them. The air was filled with silence.

"You like those ladies?" Chang-min tried breaking silence.

"No I don't"
"Do you drink?"

Dae-hyun said nothing.
"I said something" Chang-min said in an annoyed tone straightening herself.

Suddenly a huge truck came infront of them. Chang-min shut her eyes and hugged Dae-hyun tightly, while he turned the bike harshly and stopped just before hitting the wall.

If he had wasted even a single second they would've gone.

In this process, Chang-min's face was pressed against Dae-hyun. She felt something wet.

"Are you crying?"
"What if I had lost you?"

"Pay penalties, dumb" Chang-min said rolling her eyes. Suddenly Dae-hyun hugged her and said,"can we continue? " And the night went with gossips, smiles and lots of love.

"Bye, take care"
"You too"

Soon it was morning and they had to separate, but the night engraved a memory on both the hearts.
