Four years later
Chang-min was no more that sweet little child anymore now. She was a beautiful seventeen years old teenager. Her brown eyes with full of life had no spark in them after spending exhausting years with her mom. Her lips which always had a smile ten years ago had turned into plumpy and lustrous but without a smile. Her love for colours were no more. The colourful artworks were replaced by dark gloomy sketches with shades of black and grey in them, just like her life was right now. She was devastated, tired and looking for some peace. It was last year of her highschool and she was preparing for CSAT exams. While Dae-hyun was doing small jobs to collect enough money for a good quality camera and also being the reason for Chang-min to live, not to mention her little crush on him.
Dae-hyun's body well defined his schedule. It was well built by working hard all day. He used to clean cars, load trucks and deliver food items after school. He had small scars on his face which were few months old. He got them because of falling down again and again while loading trucks with heavy sacks of flour, or anything else heavy weighted. Still he looked majestic .His black hair drenched in sweat covered his hazel eyes. His jaw which was sharp enough to slit a throat tightened every single time he lifted a weight. His veiny hands were so powerful that it could choke someone to death in a minute. He had a very manly look just at the age of nineteen years, he was also very handsome. Not to mention Chang-min's small crush on him. He made heart of every girl with a look Every girl in his school wanted to spend some time with him, but he didn't gave them a fuck. He had only one girl in his life, Chang-min. She was his motivation....
"You're late again" Chang-min said with a sigh. "Sorry, I was counting money I've collected" Dae-hyun replied sitting down on the canteen chair.
"How much you've collected"
"Eighty eight thousand sixty five"
"You've got a long way to go"Chang-min said.
"Yeah, but I'll make it somehow" Dae-hyun said taking a bite of his sandwich while Chang-min took one from her cake.
"You know there is thrift fair next week in the park nearby my tution" Chang-min said as she wiped out her mouth. "Hmm" This was the only reply from Dae-hyun as he was in hurry. "So I can sell some of my artworks" Chang-min said trying to get Dae-hyun's attention who was busy collecting wrappers on their dustbin to throw in dustbin. "I'll get enough money to double your collection of money you're collecting for your camera". Chang-min said again making Dae-hyun shock this time.
"Why the hell do you want to sell your artwork?!" Dae-hyun exclaimed. "To help you fulfill your dream of being a photographer" Chang-min cleared herself out. "You'll sit there all day in sun to collect money for me" Dae-hyun said in a worried tone."You also do" Chang-min replied. "You ain't going to that thrift fair" Dae-hyun said before leaving.Chang-min also left for home as she didn't wanted to be in school without Dae-hyun.
"Yeah, just look at queen, walking like she is the biggest scholar in class" These were the words Chang-min heard as she entered her home from her mom. Her mom was sitting on the couch holding a test paper of Chang-min's in which she had not scored well. "It was a surprise test mom" Chang-min said being annoyed before continuing to walk towards her room. "You're talking back to me" Mrs Kim yelled but Chang went inside her room and plopped down on her bed completely ignoring her mom. She hugged a pillow and sat up. "Why he is like that? He says he can do anything to achieve his dream but won't accept if I work for him to collect money" Chang-min said with a pout. She went and sat on her desk and opened one of her drawers. Out of which she whipped out a potrait, a potrait of Dae-hyun. "You know things have changed, you don't ask me for help but you're the one helping me" Chang-min said to the potrait like she is talking to Dae-hyun. "You know, you've got a lot more handsome than last time I saw you and next time when I'll meet you you'll be more" She said again before when she heard a knock on her door. She opened the door and saw her dad with a smile on his face, "So how is my princess?" Mr Kim said entering her room, "Good" Chang-min replied nervously as she was afraid her dad might see Dae-hyun's potrait. "Dad, I have a request" Chang-min said picking up a blanket and folding it, "yeah, what it is?" Her dad asked. "Can you give one hundred sixty thousand two hundred won" She said as she threw the blanket on Dae-hyun's potrait."You're getting your pocket money in a week, wait till then please" Mr Kim said "and we're going outside for a dinner so get ready" Mr Kim said before going out of the room and Chang-min sat down on bed with a sigh
