The time passed in a wink of an eye.
Today was the day for Chang-min's CSAT results.
It was the last day she might see her parents together. The tension in air rose every next second.
Everyone could feel it. Mr Kim was losing patience as he waited for Chang-min and her mom to get ready.
Mrs Kim didn't spoke a word while she wore her expensive jwellery. The one to suffer the most was Chang-min. Poori girl felt like she was stuck in an loop hole.
Chang-min couldn't process what was going to happen today. She couldn't think of anything else but the mistake she did of not approaching Dae-hyun.
The tension was so much that even Chae-yong, who was just sitting in her room and doing nothing could feel it.
"Dad, I'm ready, where is mom by the way?"
Chang-min asked, as her dad grew tense.
"S-she is still not ready"
He said as he sat on driver's seat.
"Actually, I am"
Mrs Kim walked out of the house in a formal wear paired with expensive pieces of jewelry.
She sat on passenger seat, as Chang-min gulped. A couple who is about to get divorced are sitting together, and what Chang-min was worried that her dad might not crash the car somewhere.
The tension escalated as they reached the school to get the results. The parents who had seen them before happily would surely come, and they came.
"Hello Mrs Kim, how have you been doing?"
A lady, who was mom of the class president came and greeted.
"Do you know, my daughter has got eighty two percent. She's getting into some good place without my money"
She showed off her daughter's results before asking,
"How much did your daughter scored, and how much do you think you'll have to spend on her college now?"
She asked, as Mr Kim grew more annoyed.
"We haven't checked, and how does that matter when I can afford her college even if she doesn't get scholarship"
Mr Kim replied, as Mrs Kim got embarrased. As Chang-min couldn't even make her proud once.
They went to get the results, and came back with a Mrs Kim with a poker face.
Though Chang-min and her dad were really happy about the sixty five percent Chang-min got.
"You know, now we will see which college you're going into"
Mr Kim said with a smiling face as he drove the car.
The tension in the air had reduced as now they had a topic to talk about and stat away from the killing silence.
"What do you want to do for your bachelors by the way?"
He asked, unlike Dae-hyun, Chang-min knew the answer.
"I want to go for BFA, because I want to be a fashion designer"
Chang-min said, and it felt like she had spoken her heart out.
But hearing her decision, Mrs Kim was shocked. To be honest, the Karen in her was shocked.
"May I know how could you take that decision on your own when there is still some time left for me to lose your custody?"
Mrs Kim asked, more like telling Chang-min to change her decision.
"You're not gonna pay for her college anyways, why do you want to take the decision?"
Mr Kim said in a bitter tone as he stopped the car because they had reached their home.
Chang-min got out of the car and ran happily inside to tell the news to her sister. She was also happy about the fact that her mom wouldn't be able to ruin her life anymore.
"Chae-yong, were are you?"
Chang-min said as she entered the house.
"Here I am"
Chae-yong said walking out of her room holding a paper.
Chang-min ran and hugged her. She held her hands and started spinning her like crazy.
"You don't know how happy I'm today"
Chang-min said spinning Chae-yong around. She suddenly stopped when she saw a paper in Chae-yong's hand.
"What is that paper?"
Chang-min asked.
"I'll tell you, but first tell me what happened there that you're so happy?"
Chae-yong said as she sat down on couch to listen everything.
"She has scored very good and chose her favourite course, so tonight I'm taking everyone out for dinner"
Mr Kim said entering the drawing hall with his blazer swinging in his right hand and left hand in pocket.
"So Chang-min, which college do you want to go?"
Mr Kim said as he sat on another couch facing opposite of his daughters.
"Dad, I want to move out"
Chang-min said looking down.
"I also want to do the same dad"
Chae-yong added.
There was an eerie silence in room.
"It's your wish, anyway both of you are adults now and I need some break from being a dad"
Mr Kim lightened the tension in his room with his words as he stretched his shoulders.
"And what's that paper in your hand, Chae-yong?"
He asked suddenly.
"I've completed my education, so I thought of joining an hospital as an intern. It's a form I have to fill for joining"
Chae-yong said as she handed over the paper to her dad.
"You know according to the image of this hospital you are mostly sure to be hired"
Mr Kim said looking at the paper.
"Really!"
Chae-yong gasped happily.
"You're joining as cardio surgeon, and if you manage to perform eight successful surgeries in first three months, third month you're hired officially"
Mr Kim explained thoroughly.
"And how do you know all this?"
Mrs Kim interfered with her question.
"You know I have connections with many people, few doctors in this hospital are my friends that's why"
Mr Kim answered his wife.
"Dad, can we talk about Chang-min's college or university now?"
Chae-yong tried to divert the attention from her career to Chang-min's. She knew her sister was left out in all the family discussions from childhood. But she didn't wanted Chang-min to feel left out in the conversation about her.
"Oh yes, where do you wanna go?"
Mr Kim asked Chang-min.
"You can decide, just BFA"
Chang-min said, in a low tone as she remembered that now she was gonna be seperated from an important part of her life, which was Dae-hyun.
Suddenly Mr Kim's phone rang. It was a call from Hanuel. He picked it up and went outside to talk. After what seemed like five minutes he returned and got back to the place he was sitting.
"So what about going to any foreign country, you want to move out anyways"
Mr Kim suggested, as Chang-min looked up.
"And when you return you'll have a number of projects waiting for you"
Mr Kim added.
"Okay, thank you dad"
Chang-min said, but she couldn't help but to think about Dae-hyun.
..."So did you liked the people of Seoul?" Chang-min asked,
"The first person whom I had a conversation with didn't told me her name"
The boy replied,"And who is that person? "
Chang-min asked squeezing her eyes.
"You"
The boy gave a quick answer making Chang-min burst into laughter...
Chang-min remembered the first meet of theirs. How he brightened her day with few words.
The whole day she thought about Dae-hyun. When they went for dinner, while returning. Even before falling asleep.
