Trigger warning: bullying
The guy stopped his bike and said
"It's your home, stay safe".
Dae-hyun got off the bike and took a few stumbled steps and entered his home.
There his parents were sitting with a angry face, but he completely ignored them and went inside his room.
As he entered his room, he flopped down on his bed.
Few minutes later he was sound asleep. When he woke up it was next morning.
He woke up rubbing his eyes trying to adjust in light. He did his morning routine and stepped out of his room to be greeted by his parents' angry face.
"Where were you last night?" His mom asked standing up from the couch.
"In my room ofcourse" he said ignoring her and picking an apple to eat
He was about to take a bite when his dad held his hand.
"Just tell why were you so late?" His dad asked, more like threatening.
"Too many customers" Dae-hyun said trying to release his hands from his father's grip.
Suddenly Mr Park slapped him hard,so hard that he felt on floor.
"Go find a respectable job" Mr Park said wearing his coat just before going out.
Mrs Park ran to Dae-hyun. She knelt down to his level and turned his face towards him.
She looked in Dae-hyun's eyes.
They were holding anger and hatred for her, nothing else.
"Why don't you just apologize to your dad when he is angry?" She said.
Dae-hyun pushed her away and stood up.
"Why doesn't he apologize to me for ruining my childhood?" He asked his mom before storming out.
While Chang-min's morning wasn't any better.
She was sitting on dining table with her family, to have the breakfast she didn't felt like having. She was just playing with her food.
Chae-yong noticed it, how Chang-min was mixing the ramen in her bowl with kimchi but not even having a bite.
"What happened last night?" She whispered to Chang-min. As Chang-min's expression turned into shocked one.
"Dad, I'm late" Chang-min said as she picked up her bag rushing out.
As she got out of her home, she took a deep breath.
"You've hurted the one who loves you the most, you have only to heal his wounds" Chang-min said to herself as she walked on the pavement.
After a walk of nearly half an hour she reached school.
As she entered the school, something caught her attention.
It was Dae-hyun, leaning on his bike.
He was talking to Ae-cha. One the of cheerleaders. Almost every guy in school was crazy for her.Chang-min felt a sudden wave of jealousy. She wanted to clear out things, but not anymore.
She stormed off to her class and sat on her place near the window. She looked outside only to see a adoring smile on Dae-hyun's face as he talked to Ae-cha.
"Just four days are left for CSAT exams, and this guy" Chang-min said as she crushed a paper fuming in anger.
The bell rang and everyone went to their classes. The school campus was empty.
That's when teacher entered the class. He greeted them and started teaching.
"You know, Ae-cha have found a new guy" A girl sitting behind Chang-min whispered to her friend.
"Yeah, he used to come on foot, but today he had came with a bike and impressed Ae-cha" Her friend whispered back.
"I think he'll leave her after a few days" The first girl said, reciving a nod from the another one.
Suddenly teacher screamed, "Get out of the class if you don't want to study".
It was for those two girls. They went back into reading their books, but their words were still roaming in Chang-min's head.
Soon it was time for break. As Chang-min heard the bell, she ran outside to meet Dae-hyun.
She reached cafeteria and sat at the usual table where she used to sit with Dae-hyun.
She was waiting there impatiently for Dae-hyun. If she could fast forward to the time when Dae-hyun would come, she would have surely do.
Soon enough, Dae-hyun entered cafeteria with another girl. He went past Chang-min without even sparing a glace at her.
He went with that girl and sat on the table next to Chang-min.
This was too much for Chang-min to handle. First flirting with Ae-cha, then eating with some other girl and completely ignoring Chang-min.
Chang-min ran out of the cafeteria with tears in her eyes.
She kept running till she reached library. She went inside the library and started reading some book. She tried to control her emotions. She wanted to forget the fact that the person who once loved her the most was not even looking at her.
Sadly, she couldn't. All she wanted was Dae-hyun to pass a smile at her.
It was not like Dae-hyun was actually ignoring Chang-min. His eyes were on her whole day, he just made it look that he was ignoring her.
He also knew how hurt was Chang-min when she ran away from cafeteria. He was also hurt seeing her tears,he wanted to hug her. He just wanted to run to her and comfort her, but he couldn't. He didn't wanted to get weak.
Dae-hyun wanted to wash away all the feelings he had for Chang-min. So he wouldn't feel bad once Chang-min leaves. If he knew it would hurt Chang-min this much, he would never.
Soon as the bell rang, everyone left cafeteria. Chang-min was also about to leave the library when a girl pushed her back in.
Chang-min fell on the floor. When she looked up she saw a group of three guys and two girls was there.
A girl bent down and said
"My poor baby got hurt"
And the group started laughing."This girl is totally useless piece of shit, why don't we throw her off" A guy said as the group lifted up Chang-min and dragged her to the railing.
Chang-min was crying and begging them to stop. But who were they to listen? They were monsters.
They lifted up Chang-min and bent her over.
Suddenly one of the three boys recieved a hard punch and fell on ground. The group lost their grip on Chang-min and she fell near the railing.
She looked up and saw it was Dae-hyun who punched the guy. Another guy went near Dae-hyun, just to receive a kick and fall on his head.
"Think before even looking at her" Dae-hyun said as he held Chang-min.'s hand and lifting her up.
"Why were you ignoring me all day?" Chang-min asked.
"To get a habit of living without you" Dae-hyun replied before walking away.
"You're getting selfish" Chang-min muttered as she also walked to her class...
