Soon, the doors for the entrance opened again. This time, for Dae-hyun. As he entered the hall with with one hand in his pocket and another one holding a file.
The leather jacket paired with white sweatshirt and blue jeans were making him look like a male lead in some series. It surely took breath away of Chang-min.
"Hello Mr Kim" He said offering out his hand as Mr Kim took it gracefully.
"Please have a seat"
Mr Kim said, as Dae-hyun sat down infront of Chang-min.
The one word which could describe her feelings right now was nervous. She was sweating.
There was silence, an awkward silence. Chang-min looked up. Only for her eyes to meet with Dae-hyun's. Just for a second though, as they quickly looked away.
"Mr Kim, he is Park Dae-hyun"
Hanuel said breaking the silence.
"He's young, but really ambitious"
She introduced him further.
"Are you having any sample photographs?"
Mr Kim asked.
"Yes, I'm having few pictures"
Dae-hyun replied giving the file he had brought with him to Mr Kim.
Mr Kim took out the pictures.
Looking at the first picture Chang-min's expressions turned into a shocked ones. She somehow managed to hold a gasp.
The picture was of a hand holding a glass of wine. And the hand belonged to Chang-min.
Dae-hyun looked at Chang-min and smirked slightly. Which was thankfully remained unnoticed by rest three.
The next picture was of a polar bear.
Then there were few other pictures.
"I'm quiet impressed"
Mr Kim said handing the file back to Dae-hyun.
"But this time you'll have to click pictures of model at public places"
He said sipping coffee from the cup.
"And what are those places?"
Dae-hyun asked.
"Most of them will be in Toronto, Canada"
Mr Kim said.
"Who'll be the model, Mr Kim?"
Hanuel asked interrupting Mr Kim and Dae-hyun.
"I hope you'll find the model too"Mr Kim said with a slight smile which showed his trust in Hanuel.
"We can discuss about that tomorrow I think" Hanuel said.
"For now, we should look up to places in Toronto for photoshoot"
She continued.
"Yeah, I want the cover to be near Lake"
Mr Kim spoke out taking everyone's attention.
Actually, not everyone.
Chang-min was looking down and being left out.
She was really excited to meet Hanuel and ask her the reason for her parents divorce.
Unfortunately, everything turned out something else. Here her dad was busy explaining Dae-hyun and Hanuel about the book.
It was not like she didn't wanted to have Dae-hyun or Hanuel any attention. Infact, she was happy for Dae-hyun. But in all this, she was left out, and lonely.
All this wasn't remained unnoticed by Dae-hyun for long. He wasn't angry at her. He was just trying to get into the habbit of living without her.
He had enough of Chang-min being left out. He decided to get Chang-min involved in conversation.
"Mr Kim, who is she? Is she the publisher for your book?"
Dae-hyun spoke acting like he's seeing Chang-min for the first time.
Hanuel couldn't process what Dae-hyun said just. She couldn't stop herself from looking at him in disbelief.
"No, the company for which I work is the publisher, She's my daughter who wanted to accompany me" Mr Kim replied.
"Please, introduce yourself to him" He turned towards Chang-min and said.
Chang-min nervously offered her hand for a shake, which was gladly accepted by Dae-hyun.
"I'm Kim Chang-min, younger daughter of Mr Kim Ho-seok"
She introduced herself, with a realisation this was the first time they ever shook hands. This was the first time she ever introduced herself. Yet, Dae-hyun knows each and every thing about her, and it was due to the connections of their hearts.
"I'm Park Dae-hyun, a wannabe photographer and this is my first official project"
The same feelings were also felt by Dae-hyun. He never told about himself to Chang-min like this, confirming he wants to be a photographer. This was the first time he was properly telling about himself to Chang-min. And yet again, this information was too old for her.
They were sitting on the same table, just at a distance of few metres. Still, they felt like they were so far away.
They couldn't hug each other, neither talk like they used to. The gap of a metre, felt like the whole surface area of Asia.
"I think we've known each other enough, so Dae-hyun , you'll call me tomorrow at eight in morning"
Mr Kim spoke standing up, as others followed him.
"And Hanuel, it's your work to find a model in next two days and it'll be totally your decision, I need not meet her"
He said before walking out of the grand hall followed by Chang-min and Hanuel, who was accompanied by Dae-hyun.
"Dae-hyun, I need to talk to you"
Hanuel said once Mr Kim left with Chang-min.
But Dae-hyun wasn't even paying attention to her. All he could think was about Chang-min. He wanted a last glimpse of her face.
In this meeting, he was continuously staring at Chang-min. And when he wasn't starting at Chang-min, she would looking.
Multiple eye contacts were made, which were broken the next second.
Even Chang-min couldn't think of anything else rather than Dae-hyun.
Those encounters with eyes, those stares. Nothing was there she could forget.
She wanted to talk to Hanuel about Dae-hyun. Now she can't even talk about anything else but Dae-hyun. Which she couldn't, so she chose silence......
