~ Maoyu's Dream ~

She was back again.

The room was pitch dark. Filled with nothingness.

She felt herself begin to panic and closed her eyes to calm herself down.

Despite of visiting this place several times already, something about it struck her with fear and anxiety.

After collecting herself, she moved forward and felt around the air.

Once she came into contact with the familiar cool of the wall, she followed like always.

She felt her way out the room and down the hall.

As usual, after walking for a long time, there was a dim light at the end.

She walked towards it.

When she stepped into the familiar room, the place looked just the same.

Her eyes finally land on the table in the middle of the room.

Her feet moved on their own, drawing her closer.

The familiar sight of the rotting corpse greeted her.

She could feel the urge to vomit again, but it wasn't as strong as the times before.

As usual, she would simply stare at the woman.

Eventually, the woman's eyes opened, black with red sclera.

Even though her heart was racing, Maoyu didn't move.

In fact, she met her gaze head on.

Time passed as their eyes bore into each other. Not a word spoken.

That was until the woman's lips moved.

Maoyu frowned, not hearing a sound.

'Was she trying to talk?'

When her lips continued to move, it was clear that she was.

Maoyu only stood there and watched, trying to read her lips but failing.

'What is she saying?'

'Do I even want to know?'

"-ek..." her ear caught.

She looked at the woman in confusion as she tried to speak.

"-ek...-sek...."

"Chosek."

Maoyu's eyes widened at the familiar name.

She looked at the woman with a mix of disbelief and fear.

"Chosek." she said again. "Chosek."

"No." Maoyu shook her head. "I'm not him."

"Chosek. Chosek." the woman kept repeating.

"No....NO!" Maoyu yelled.

The woman tried to move her arm, making Maoyu back away.

Her heart was pounding out of her chest and she felt like she couldn't breath.

Grinding her teeth, she sprinted out of the room.

She ran, unable to see where she was going.

Once again, she crashed into something hard, sending a sharp pain through her head.

Silver eyes stared at her before her world went completely dark.
