Life 3 × CH 6

"Lesson 3...." Koneko said, kicking Issei into a tree.

Issei coughed, falling onto his knees with his head kissing the ground.

"Weak." She said.

For such a small body, the girl packed one hell of a punch.

Issei didn't even know how he survived it.

Gritting his teeth, he stood onto his feet.

Since he's failed at everything else, he had to do well during this training.

"I'm not done yet...!" He exclaimed, charging toward her.

Koneko dodged at the last minute and kicked him before catching his neck with her feet and locking his head between her legs.

Issei struggled to break free of her headlock.

"Aim your blows at the body's central axis and strike with precision, right to the heart." She instructed.

Issei in pain after tightening her legs around his neck.

He finally had to tap out.

Koneko let him go and stood to her feet.

She glanced at Maoyu who was simply watching on the sidelines.

"Take a break." She looked down at him before turning to Maoyu. "You're next."

After pulling Issei to the sidelines to get healed, Koneko and Maoyu stood on opposite sides of the field.

Learning her lesson from her encounter with Kiba, she decided to go on the offense.

She moved in to punch her in the gut only for Koneko to dodge and kick her across the field.

Maoyu's back slammed into the tree, cracking it on impact.

She fell to the ground, coughing up some blood.

"Trash." Koneko said.

Gritting her teeth, Maoyu stood back up on her feet.

She moved to attack again.

This time, she aimed for the girl's side.

Koneko naturally dodged and went to kick her again.

She was slightly surprised when Maoyu caught her foot and threw her across the field.

Regained control of herself mid flight and landed on her feet.

Their eyes met before Maoyu attacked again.

Koneko grew more and more surprised when Maoyu began to match her blows.

Because she wasn't disciplined in hand-to-hand combat, her punches and kicks were sloppy and lacked precision, but she made up for it with her sharp reflexes and improvisation.

The girl seemed to be a natural brawler.

If trained properly, she felt that Maoyu could be a worthy opponent in the feature.

Nonetheless, Koneko had more experience and training and came out as the victor in the end.

After beating her, she dragged Maoyu to the sidelines and told Issei to come and fight.

For the rest of the day, Maoyu and Issei took turns getting their ass handed to them by Koneko.

For some reason, she felt like everyone was making sure to be extra rough on her.

Like Kiba, Koneko left her with all sorts of scratches and bruises worst than Issei.

It was quite clear they still didn't like her which was okay Maoyu.
