It was a new day at college and Draco was walking to the music room for his lesson and he pushed open the door of the music block, and noticed another blonde girl down the corridor who was Luna Lovegood, but she was staring off into space.

Draco walked over to her, and leaned against the wall, "Draco!" She lightened up, coming back to reality, "Hey Luna, are you waiting for Laura?" He asked and she nodded. "Oh bless you, I can't get into the music room so can I wait here with you?" He asked her "Of course you can, love, are you with anyone in particular?" She asked, "Any boyfriends or a partner? I know you're gay, but you can date non binary people." She added, her voice soft and gentle.

Draco looked at her with a smile, "I might be with Harry." He said to her and she smiled, "Aww, wasn't he with Ginny?" She asked, "They broke up, and I kissed him and he kissed me back, he's so amazing, Luna, and he cares so much about my feelings." He said to her, "I had a breakdown yesterday, he was so sweet, a member of safeguarding came to get him, and he let me cry and was so patient." He added, knowing he was blushing as the music teacher came over.

Draco turned around, "The room's open if you want to go in there." She told him and Draco turned back to Luna and gave her a hug, "I'll be in the music room at the end of the corridor, if you need me, but if Harry comes by, can you let him know I'm in the room?" He asked her, "Of course I will." She told him and Draco smiled, walking to the music room, closing the door behind and put his bag down on the floor with his jacket and walked over to the piano and sat down, thinking of a song to play, and put his hands on the keys and started to play Arcade by Duncan Laurence and his mind went elsewhere for the meantime.

Whilst he was playing the chorus, Harry came into the room, opening the door quietly to not disturb his boyfriend who was in a relaxed state and he closed the door behind himself, leaning against it, being quiet to not disturb him.

After Draco had finished the song, he shook his hands to release the soreness from them and looked up and Harry was there. "Hey." Draco greeted him with a smile, getting up from the chair and walked over to him. "Hey. You're so good at this." He praised which made Draco blush "Thank you." He smiled, "You're very welcome, come here, I haven't seen you all morning." Draco stood up on his tiptoes and Harry cupped his face in his warm hands.

Draco didn't stop looking at him and Harry also couldn't stop looking at him, "Do you have any classes today?" He asked and Draco shook his head, "Our Psychology classes got cancelled as well, can you take me home if that's okay and can you stay with me?" Draco asked him. Harry stroked Draco's cheeks with a smile, "Of course I'll take you home, let's go home." Harry let go of Draco, "Did Luna tell you to come and find me?" Draco asked, walking over to get his bag and jacket and pulled his coat on, putting his bag on afterwards. He walked over to the door with Harry, opening it and Harry let him go first.

Draco walked out of the room, "To your answer, she did tell me and also told me that you told her we're dating." Harry said to Draco, closing the door. "I did, why?" Draco asked, confused why Harry would ask such thing. "I'm just wondering because that's not like you, you're normally really shy and the quiet music boy." "So what if I told her?" Draco asked, a slight tease in his tone. "I'm proud of you, Draco, and even though you weren't ready, you told your best friend who you first came out to, if I'm right?" Harry asked and Draco nodded, and the two walked out of college together, hand in hand to the bus stop.

Once they got to Draco's, the blonde unlocked the front door, walking in with Harry who closed the door afterwards, "What do you want to do?" Harry asked, "Umm, I think I'm going to get comfortable if that's okay." Draco said to him, now going shy on him.

Harry smiled, taking off his shoes and hung up his jacket "Of course, do you want a cup of tea?" He asked and Draco nodded, walking upstairs to his bedroom, closing the door behind and leaned against it, butterflies filling his stomach of Harry looking after him and treating him well. He got out of his jeans and into black joggers and walked back downstairs to the living room, sitting on the sofa, "Do you want to lay your head down if you want?" Harry asked, "Yes please, if that's okay." Draco said, shyly, moving to lay his head in Harry's lap and Harry ran his fingers through Draco's hair.

Draco closed his eyes and looked in Harry's eyes with a smile. Draco felt a surge of happiness, knowing that Harry was willing to stand up for their love. He squeezed Harry's hand, feeling grateful to have him as his boyfriend. Draco sat himself up and hugged Harry tight, melting in his arms. Harry held him tighter, not letting go of him for a few minutes and Draco laid back down in his lap and closed his eyes whilst Harry was stroking his hair.

Harry stopped playing with Draco's hair, "Are you okay?" Harry asked, "Mmm, yeah." Draco mumbled, growing sleepy from Harry playing with his hair, "If you do want to fall asleep, you can." Harry softly said to him and Draco looked up at him, nodding.

As Draco drifted off to sleep, Harry carefully lifted him up and laid him against his side on the couch. He got the blanket from the armchair next to the sofa and gently placed it over Draco's body. Wrapping his own arm around Draco, Harry held him close as he continued to doze off.

Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment as he held Draco close. The weight of the world seemed to fall away as they cuddled on the couch, lost in their own little world. Harry closed his eyes and embraced the moment, feeling grateful to have Draco in his life.

He could feel the rise and fall of Draco's chest against his own, his breathing shallow and rhythmic. Harry knew that he needed to let Draco sleep, but he couldn't bear to move from his embrace.

They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, until Harry finally realized that it was getting to late Afternoon and they needed to get some real rest in bed.

"Draco, love, let's get you to bed, so we can be comfortable." Harry said to him, waking him up for a few minutes to get him up and Draco shuffled in Harry's lap and Harry stood up with Draco in his arms who was going back to sleep.

He gently lifted Draco up and carried him to the blonde's bedroom, tucking him in the covers and kissing his forehead before slipping into bed next to him, cuddled up together and Draco shuffled back slightly so his back was pressed against Harry's chest. As they lay there, Harry wrapped his arms around Draco and held him close, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they could always find comfort in each other's arms. And for now, that was all that mattered.

It was around an hour later, and Harry woke, Draco still asleep next to him but he wasn't pressed against him no more. Harry slipped a hand around his waist, pulling him in closer to his body and held him around the waist. Draco stirred slightly but he was still asleep. "You're okay, lovely." He whispered softly to him, knowing he was having a nightmare.

When Harry realised, he sat up, bringing Draco in his arms and ran a hand down his back. Harry rubbed his back in circles, feeling the sweat come off his back, and he heard Draco's breathing slow down, and he shot awake, sitting up instantly. "Shh, you had a nightmare, you're okay." Harry hushed him gently, bringing Draco down and into his arms. Draco relaxed, wrapping his arms around Harry, "Y-You were dead and I-I couldn't do anything." He stuttered, feeling like he was going to cry.

Harry pulled Draco in close, "You don't have to tell me." Harry said, gently, but he didn't want to push Draco into telling him as he knew he didn't want to upset him. Draco nodded his head, still not wanting to say anything.

That was until Draco sat up, moving to sit next to Harry and got his blanket, laying it on his lap. "What would make you feel better?" Harry asked, "Hmm, kissing me." Draco said, his voice barely a whisper, leaning in closer and his breath was coming to mingle with Harry's lips. Harry reached forward, gently brushing aside a stray strand of hair that fell forward across Draco's face. He slid a finger beneath his chin and gently coaxed Draco to lift his head. He leant forward, bringing their lips together in a sweet, tender kiss.

They broke apart and Draco leaned over to get his phone but ended up knocking it on the floor and Harry picked it up, "Give me my phone." Draco said, "Come and get it." Harry held it behind his back, leaning back into Draco's bed. "Harry, come on!" Draco looked around his bed for his phone "If you want it, come here." Harry pat his lap, sitting up, moving Draco's phone under the other pillows, and sat up, coming up to sit on Harry's lap.

Harry held his waist "There we go, it wasn't so bad now." Harry teased, bringing one hand to poke Draco's stomach who didn't move except let a small smile slip. "There's your pretty smile!" Harry clapped his hands in excitement, a smile on his own face, and got Draco's phone from under the pillows and Draco took it out of his hand, getting off of Harry and laid next to him, and Harry pulled him in close.

This felt just right for them both.
