It was a few months later and it was now February 12th and Draco walked into the house from being out with his friends most of today but today was different, it was his 17th birthday. He closed the door, seeing that the lights were turned off and he felt a pair of hands come over his eyes and walked him into the living room but seconds later, he realised it was his mum, Narcissa.
She walked into the living room and took her hands away and the lights came on. His family and friends were there with him and he looked around with a smile. He'd never thought he'd make it to 17, with his mental health being really bad but here he was, he promised Harry and he didn't break it.
That was until Narcissa spun him around and put something on his head, "Mum? What are you putting on my head?" He asked, confused at something on his head. "Do you remember how you said you wanted a tiara when you was 16 but me and your father had things to do?" She asked and the blonde nodded, realising what was on his head. He looked around, not finding his boyfriend anywhere but that was when he realised, Harry had moved to Ireland in December and he wasn't coming back.
Narcissa brought Draco over to the sofa, sitting him down and Lucius brought Narcissa into the kitchen, "Is Harry coming?" She asked, and he nodded, walking to the front door and opened it, stepping outside for a minute, "How was the flight? Lucius asked, "It was alright, it wasn't that bad, is Draco here yet?" Harry asked, closing the gate. "He's inside, Narcissa, come here please." Narcissa came outside and looked at Harry and gave him a hug and he hugged her back. She pulled back and walked back inside.
She knelt down beside Draco and took his hands, "Love, I'm going to need you to close your eyes for a few minutes, we have one final surprise for you." Narcissa said, letting go of his hands so Draco could cover his eyes and he did.
Lucius opened the door as Harry came in and walked in the living room and got down on the floor and sat in front of Draco and took his hands gently away from his face. Draco looked at Harry and his eyes filled with tears as he threw himself into Harry's arms.
Harry held him tight, "I missed you so much." Draco whispered. "I missed you too, love." Their embrace felt like it lasted for an eternity. As they pulled away, Harry looked into Draco's tear-filled eyes, and the world faded away once more, this time more beautiful.
It felt surreal that he was finally here, in this moment, with Draco in his lap, surrounded by family and friends.
As Draco pulled away, he crushed his lips against Harry's, and just like that, the tension that had been building up between them was unleashed. They kissed passionately, their bodies entwined as if they had been made for each other.
The room exploded in applause as the couple pulled away from each other, beaming brightly. Harry held Draco in his lap, straddling him. The blonde's blue ripped jeans were now tight and revealed his beautifully sculpted legs, and he looked at Harry, feeling the euphoria of their shared intimacy. He broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I love you, Harry," Draco said, a wide grin forming on his face. "I love you too, Draco," Harry replied, kissing his forehead tenderly. The couple was lost in a world of their own, in each other's arms, as they savoured the moment surrounded by those who meant the most to them.
The room was filled with warm hugs, laughter, and the sound of celebration. For Draco, it marked the end of a dark time and the beginning of a future filled with love and light. For Harry, it was just another day to be lucky enough to share with the one he loved most in the world. Together, they basked in their joy, knowing that they could make it through anything together.
As the clock struck 10, Draco couldn't keep his eyes open any longer. He had had the best birthday ever, and he was grateful for Harry, who had made it so special.
