The next day, Draco was engrossed in the creative process, seated comfortably at the table with their laptop and iPad. Procreate was open on their device and they were diligently working on the background of their book cover for 'Bloodbound Hearts.' Meanwhile, Draco was also caught up in reading the second chapter draft of their book.

As Harry made his way downstairs, he noticed Draco lost in their work and quietly approached them.

Sensing Harry's presence, Draco put down their apple pen with a little smile. They swivelled their chair around to greet Harry. "Hey," Draco smiled. "Hey gorgeous, I see you're drawing your covers, and is there any art of Prudence and Oliver?" Harry asked with interest. Without hesitation, Draco changed the picture to showcase the characters in their book and showed Harry. As Harry took in the picture, he couldn't help but feel shocked by the fascinating characters. "Can you describe them both? Or one of them if you want," Harry requested, intrigued.

Draco indulged Harry's curiosity, "I'll tell you about Prudence. He's a 19-year-old vampire who falls in love with a human. His hair is bubble gum pink. When he was 13, he got bitten, but he didn't realise he was a vampire until he was 16." Grinning mischievously, Draco teased Harry, "But you'll have to read the book when it comes out to truly understand who these characters are." With that, Draco went back to their drawing, focused, and lost in their world of creativity.

Draco had now moved onto the sofa with their laptop, taking care of the next crucial step in their journey of getting their book published. They were in the process of emailing a book company to see if they would be interested in publishing the cover. After crafting the perfect email, Draco hit the send button, feeling a sense of anticipation.

With a sense of satisfaction, Draco got up from the sofa, put the laptop on the coffee table, and headed upstairs to their bedroom. Behind the door, they found their cosy blanket hoodie with Disney characters on it. It was a gift from Harry, which they received last Christmas. They pulled up the hood, which covered their blue eyes and cute button nose.

Feeling comfortable and content, Draco walked back downstairs to the garden where Harry was enjoying his cup of coffee, scrolling through his phone. Harry noticed Draco approaching and beckoned them to come sit on his lap. After giving Harry a tiny smile, Draco walked over and settled on his lap. With the feeling of safety and comfort, Draco rested their head on Harry's shoulder, feeling grateful for everything they had.

Draco had asked Harry what was for lunch, and Harry beamed with excitement. "Sweet Potato and Smoked Paprika soup, your favourite winter meal," he replied. Harry's cooking skills were unparalleled, and Draco knew that the soup would be delicious. Harry grabbed the spoon from the pot, held it out to Draco, making sure nothing would spill onto their fingers and blew on the spoon before feeding it to Draco. Draco tasted the soup, savouring the flavours.

It was even better than they remembered. "Delicious," Draco said with a smile. "May I have another small spoonful?" Harry chuckled and scooped up another spoonful, feeding it to Draco. Harry noticed that Draco had been eyeing a piece of bread, so he grabbed a slice and dipped it into the soup before handing it over to Draco. Draco continued to eat, feeling the warmth of the soup spreading through their body.

They were grateful for Harry and everything he did for them. As they savoured each bite, Harry watched with a sense of joy. The two of them may have been in their own private haven, but in that moment, they were content. Nothing else mattered as long as they had each other.

After finishing their soup, Harry set up the table for lunch. He called Draco into the kitchen, and they walked in with a smile on their faces. Harry pulled out a chair for Draco, who sat down, looking at the plate of bread Harry had prepared. Harry sat down across the table, and the two of them enjoyed their lunch together.
