A month had passed and Draco was now back at work at the Sprinkles of Dreams Bakery and Coffee Shop. As they served a long line of customers, their gaze found its way to the end of the queue where Harry stood. A brief moment of eye contact was made before Draco looked away and got back to the task at hand.

However, as soon as Draco reached Harry, the latter spoke up. "Draco, can we talk in private? Is there a storage room we can use?" They asked cautiously, aware that their past relationship could still be a touchy subject.

Draco called for Minnie, who handed over the keys to the storage room. They made their way there, opening the door to a dimly lit room. "What is it that you want to talk about?" Draco asked as they took a seat next to Harry. Draco noticed the familiar glimmer in Harry's eyes and knew that they needed to have a heart-to-heart conversation. "Harry, listen. I have been thinking about us a lot and I want to talk about what happened between us a month ago," Draco said, their voice calm but determined. Harry nodded in agreement, fully willing to hear what Draco had to say.

As they talked, Draco found that they were able to articulate their thoughts and feelings on the matter in a clearer and more concise manner than they had before. And Harry was listening intently, expressing their own thoughts and feelings with the same honesty and vulnerability as Draco. As the conversation came to a close, Harry reached for Draco's hand and the two walked back to the bakery without any arguments or tension between them. Upon finishing Harry's order, they stepped out into the cool ocean air, ready to take on the world again.

Harry swung Draco's hand in a slow, reassuring motion, both of them basking in the glow of the sun on their skin. Draco could feel Harry looking at them with a newfound appreciation, and it made them feel seen and understood in a way they had never felt before.

Without a word, Harry leaned in for a kiss and Draco met him halfway, their lips meeting in a slow and tender embrace. It was deep and meaningful, a testament to the strength of their connection and the love that still existed between them. After they pulled away, Harry looked at Draco with a smile and asked when their break was. Draco told them it would be in an hour and that they could probably go on the pier together and share chips. They walked back to the bakery, hand in hand, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead of them.

As soon as the clock struck Draco's break time, Minnie gave them the green light to take an hour and a half instead of just an hour. Excitedly, Draco made their way over to the table where Harry sat, ready to spend some more time with them.

They held out their hand, their white faux fur jacket draped over their arm. Harry smiled, taking Draco's hand and rising from their seat. Together, they made their way to the pier, admiring the ocean's endless horizon and breathing in the crisp January air. As they approached the fish and chip shop, Draco suggested that they share a portion of chips. Harry didn't hesitate to pay when they got to the till, insisting on buying their order with a tap of his contactless card.

After getting their food, they walked outside, finding an empty bench by the pier where they could sit and enjoy each other's company. With the wind running through their hair - now out of Draco's ponytail - they spent the rest of their break talking and laughing, sharing stories and memories from their past and dreams for their future. The sky began to darken as their break came to a close and they headed back to the bakery. As they parted ways, Draco gave Harry a kiss on the cheek and thanked them for such a wonderful day. Harry smiled, telling Draco he couldn't wait until their next break together.

With that, they went their separate ways, eager for the adventures to come.

Draco walked through the door to their shared home at 9 PM, ready to relax after a long day of work at the bakery. They called out for Harry, who appeared from the hallway, greeting their partner with a warm embrace and a welcome home.
