"NO! You said you'll never leave me....PLEASE DON'T-"

I woke up. I never experienced a dream that felt so real, so unnerving and plain awful. I look at the clock and realize it was 8 am, when I got up I felt heavy and my head was pounding. "Did I have a seizure?" No, that's not right my care taker would've woken me up if that was the case. I hurried to the bathroom, then I saw my face, tears streaming down and puffy red eyes. I cried during my sleep? It had to be because of the nightmare. It doesn't feel right, but I do not have the time to worry about that. Quickly I brushed my teeth and put on a simple outfit and take some medicine for the pain, I don't have the time for make up. I called up my uncle and asked him to drop me off at the university.

While in the car I could sense that my uncle knew something was not okay.

"Uncle, I'm not sure but I feel awful, like I had a seizure during my sleep. My head was pounding this morning and my body feels heavy."

"I would've received a call from your care taker if that was the case El. I think you're okay, maybe you slept in a bad position?"  Uncle said in a worried manner.

"Yeah...probably. I think it had to do with the nightmare I had. I never experienced anything like it before. I even woke up crying."

Uncle Charles started giggling. "Yeah, sometimes things like that can happen. Don't let it get to your head sweetie."

The rest of the car ride was nice and calming. Once again I stood at the doors of the university and I knew that the nightmare wouldn't get out of my head.

A tiny piece of me hoped I would see Rain today...

She never showed up today. That lasted a week.
