🗡️🗡️🗡️"You're not paying for anything today," Bakugou told her as they walked down the streets of Shibuya hand in hand. Aeri raised an eyebrow at him. "You always find a way to pay before I can even reach for my wallet. I want to pay for you today." He gave her a look that told her not to try challenging him on the matter.
"Fine," She huffed. She didn't really see why it bothered him so much but if he wanted to pay so bad, then she'd let him. "Why do you care so much about that, it's just money."
"Because I want to fucking treat you, do you have a goddamn problem with that?" Bakugou growled, squeezing her hand tighter.
"No, I don't have a problem with that," Aeri blinked at him. "I just don't think it's that big of a deal, I like spending money on you."
"I want to spend money on you, don't want you to waste your damn money on me when I should be spoiling you."
Aeri clicked her tongue. "I don't need to be spoiled, I just need you." She frowned. They were 16 years old and yet they were arguing about money like a couple in their twenties.
Bakugou paused and released a heavy breath, turning to face her. "Just let me buy you some goddamn food for once so I can stop feeling guilty."
oh.
"You don't need to feel guilty about things like that..." Aeri's eyes widened, not realising until now how it made him feel.
"But I do. I love you and I don't want people to think I'm using you for your fucking money."
Both Aeri and Bakugou tensed at his words, staring at each other wide-eyed and unmoving.
"You...love me?" Aeri said after a moment, initial shock washing away and turning to sheer excitement and giddiness. Bakugou remained frozen, clearly not meaning to blurt that out so soon into their relationship.
"I...yeah," He said quietly. His eyes softened and a deep blush coated his face as he looked down to his feet, his usual confidence suddenly disappearing.
Aeri smiled brightly and pulled him into a bone-crushing hug. She leaned in close to his ear and whispered, "I love you too, Katsuki."
She laughed when Bakugou released a deep breath, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'll let you pay, Just because you love me so much." She teased and Bakugou scoffed.
"You have no choice. I took your damn wallet out of your bag before we left."

"Did you hear? They've changed up the provisional license exams so that only 10% of students can pass it now!" Jungwon teleported into her room angrily the night before the exam. Bakugou flinched in his seat, not expecting it.
"Yeah, I just found the article..." Aeri said nonchalantly. "There's no need to worry, you'll pass."
"But they went from a 50% pass rate to 10%! That's wildly different!" Jungwon complained, flopping down on the end of the bed next to Bakugou who glared at him.
"It's because of the villain attacks, Stain and All Might's retirement. They want elite heroes who can handle all of that so they made it harder." Aeri explained, rolling her eyes at her brother's griping.
"Stop whining." Bakugou chastised, moving closer to Aeri to avoid Jungwon's flailing limbs as he continued his little tantrum.
"There are two exams a year and it's only our first year. If you fail, you'll be fine because you can just retake it." Aeri leaned over Bakugou's legs and laid a comforting hand on her brother's knee. Jungwon huffed but clearly felt reassured by the way the worry in his golden eyes dissipated.
"It says here," Aeri began, going back to the article. "The police requested that the exam be focused on cooperation, you're good at that so you'll pass."
Jungwon took a deep breath. "You're right. I am good at working with others," he sat up and looked to Aeri, and then to Bakugou. "He isn't though." Jungwon pointed to Bakugou and then grimaced.
Bakugou growled, mini explosions going off in his palms. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean, dipshit?" He yelled.
"I made a mere observation cockface, don't get your panties all bunched up." Jungwon bit back, his face scrunching up with anger. "The only person you're capable of working with is Aeri and she can't be by your side all the damn time so I suggest you deal with your superiority complex before tomorrow rolls around else you'll be the one failing, not me."
Aeri's jaw dropped to the floor. She knew her brother didn't like Bakugou, but she didn't expect it all to come out now over something so minuscule as an exam.
"I'm going to fucking kill you," Bakugou growled, the slight cracking in his palms growing to full-on explosions that shook her room and threatened to set fire to her bedsheets.
"Stop!" Aeri yelled, her brows knitting together. Neither boy listened to her and continued staring at each other, their eyes blazing and baring their teeth at each other like feral wolves. "Bakugou Katsuki, Moon Jungwon!" She yelled, louder this time. She got off the bed and stood directly in front of them.
The boys snapped their heads towards her, their quirks dying out as if they forgot she was there.
"I won't deal with any goddamn fighting in my room. Jungwon that was uncalled for, you don't need to put people down based on their weaknesses. Bakugou, don't be so quick to anger when you know he's trying to purposely rile you up." Jungwon looked down guiltily and Bakugou blanched. Aeri hadn't used his last name in months. Neither of them said anything in response so Aeri leaned forward and grasped both of their hands.
She forced their palms together and locked their hands around the other's, making them hold hands. "You'll stay like this until both of you apologise to the other. I'm not having my twin brother and my boyfriend argue when you should be getting along."
Bakugou opened his mouth to argue but Aeri gave him a stern look and he shut his mouth. Neither of them dared unlock their hands.
"You better get apologising, or else you're gonna be stuck like that for a long, long time." Aeri crossed her arms over her chest.
"I'm sorry for insulting you Bakugou," Jungwon said through gritted teeth. Aeri nodded approvingly and looked at her boyfriend with raised brows.
Bakugou huffed and closed his eyes, taking a few deep breaths before he spoke. "I'm sorry for threatening to kill you."
Both boys ripped their hands away from the other and Jungwon got up, giving Aeri a pointed look before he left the room without another word. Bakugou remained brooding on the bed and Aeri sighed, climbing onto the bed and crawling into his lap.
"You called me by my last name." He frowned, not hugging back like he normally would as soon as she came near him.
"I'm sorry, I had to get my point across," she pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth, leaving lipgloss behind. "Please don't argue with my brother, I want you two to get along." She pressed another kiss to the other side of his mouth.
"He doesn't fucking like me, I doubt we're gonna get along." Bakugou sighed, finally wrapping his arms around Aeri's waist.
"You don't need to be best friends, just be civil or else I'm going to get wrinkles." Aeri frowned.
"You're only gonna get wrinkles if you keep frowning like that," Bakugou flicked her forehead before he pressed a chaste kiss to her lips. "I won't start any arguments or do anything to wrinkle your pretty face." He sighed.
"Aww, you called me pretty," Aeri smiled cheekily, kissing all over Bakugou's face.
"You're getting lipgloss all over me."
"You've been wearing my lipgloss pretty much every day, it's too late to start complaining now," Aeri replied, finishing off with one last peck to his lips.
"Remind me to check my face in the mirror next time I'm about to go out in public after kissing you."
