[Yeonjun's POV]
We met up with the others after I found Dahyun. Sana told everyone about the infected we encountered and how it specifically only attacked Dahyun and me. Taehyung managed to take a photo of the infected during the fight. It had an empty eye on its right and an eye with an orange iris on its left. Mina, Chaewon, and Dahyun recognized this eye. They told me about escaping their cell using the sewer system and encountering a different infected with those eyes.
Continuing our journey, we finally reached the surface so now we can move on and try finding the military. However, just because we don't have infected to deal with didn't mean we weren't in danger. The explosions were still going off in this snowy field. We tried our best to not get caught in the explosions but then out of nowhere a robot identical to the one back in the mall jumped me causing me to fall on the snow in front of the others.
"AHH!!" I screamed and backed up. But I realized this one actually protected me from an explosion. Soobin and Chaewon who were behind me tried stepping in to protect me but we heard someone else's voice.
"Ya nothing to be afraid of! This one doesn't have a chainsaw, so you're in the clear! Get inside of my place fast! It's not safe out here, but you already knew that!" A person from the distance shouted. I didn't care who this person was, we needed shelter immediately from the explosions so we all rushed towards the person's house and headed inside.
"Okay fellas, make yourself comfortable in here- Yeonjun hyung is that you!?" The person said.
"Wait... Beomgyu!" I said.
"It's actually you!" Beomgyu said and hugged me. "How are you hyung?"
"I don't think we've been too well given the epidemic going on right now..." I said.
"Wait Yeonjun! Beomgyu is your cousin?" Chaewon asked.
"Huh how do you know-"
"Wait, Chaewon noona!?" Beomgyu shouted.
"It is you! Beomgyu!" Chaewon ran and hugged Beomgyu.
"I'm so happy to see you both. My cousin and my childhood friend!"
"So I take it that Beomgyu is the friend you mentioned?" I asked.
"That's right!" Chaewon said.
"Oh you have other friends here too? Forgive me for not introducing myself. I'm Choi Beomgyu, Yeonjun hyung's cousin. I invented the Safety Mall Droid, the one without a chainsaw!" Beomgyu said. "The robot here is my personal assistant, his name is Toto."
"Awwww that's a cute name!" Haerin said.
"I remember being chased by something like that in the mall..." I said.
"Oh... Sorry, that's my bad..." Beomgyu said. "So who are your friends?"
Everyone took their time to introduce themselves to Beomgyu. Beomgyu was pleased to learn about everyone here. Beomgyu was also happy to see Haerin again.
"Wait so how do you know him Chaewon?" Mina asked.
"Beomgyu was Taehyun's best friend before Beomgyu moved," Chaewon said.
"Oh he was Taehyun's friend too?" I asked.
"Yeah I was, I take it you met my best friend. So where is he?" Beomgyu asked.
"... About that..." Chaewon hesitantly said.
"... I see..."
"Um to lighten up the mood, you're an engineer right? Judging how you invented Toto?" Jungkook said.
