Chapter 22

[Yeonjun's POV]

We were following Soobin to the port where his group would have a yacht that Jimin owned to get across the sea, Jimin's family was rich and they owned one. Apparently the military is all the way in the west side of the world so this should be enough to get there. I'm still in disbelief, remember when there were so many mysteries in my head? Well, I have no idea how or why I lived. I should be dead, but thankfully I'm not. I also learned that my gun was destroyed, but I do know how to fix it... I just don't have a workspace to do it yet.

Off the bat, Jimin was a welcome addition to our group for our journey. He's actually a really nice guy. I'm usually indifferent to rich people, I don't like how high and mighty they act. But Jimin is something else I'll tell you that. As for Soobin, people were still skeptical about him, myself included. Soobin put us through hell for almost a day, I wouldn't blame my friends. But we can't get anywhere without him because he knows where the cure can be found. He gave his gun to Chaewon however, so we felt a bit more comfortable with him around.

But with him here, I'm beginning to experience memories about the arrest. Soobin hates me for that day, I bet he still does. We're only putting our differences aside just this once. Dahyun explained to us about how she saved Jimin from falling off a building, we admired her bravery and I'm glad she's interacting with more people.

We finally arrived at the port at last. We headed for the yacht, but we realized that the yacht was gone. Jimin was surprised that the yacht was gone, I bet Huening Kai used the boat since he wasn't present with us outside the factory.

"Shoot!" Jimin said. "Who took the yacht?!"

"As much as we'd love to take you across the sea... Seems like Huening Kai took the yacht before us..." Soobin said.

"I'm so tired of shit like this..." I said. "First I get kidnapped and locked inside a house! Then I had to ditch my best friend at a station! After that I witnessed my parents infected! Lost my other best friend to the infection! Fainted to a headache at a school! Got left for dead at a hospital! Had to fix a stupid train in the metro! Almost died to a fucking clown! Had to unseal a gate to the safe place! A murder robot almost killed me! Experienced hallucinations in a power plant! Got ambushed by a group who could've killed us! Lost a good friend because of someone here with us! Got forcefully taken from our home! Got shot by the same person! Now we have to find another way across the sea!"

"That's rough buddy..." Taehyung said.

"Oh my- hahahaha! That is such a Taehyun thing to say, but it was Taehyun with a G!" Jungkook said.

"Kookie, it's not funny. I mean we already knew, but Yeonjun clearly has suffered the most here..." Tzuyu said.

"Well this is the first I'm hearing about these things. You fixed a train?" Dahyun asked.

"With Mina's help," I said.

"Yeah, we were adventuring together for a bit until we met Taehyun and Chaewon," Mina said.

"Cool! It reminds me when we took Haerin on a supply run with us before meeting you guys!" Yujin said.

"I almost forgot! We brought you guys your stuff!" Haerin said and held two bags. I didn't know they brought us our stuff. Chaewon seemed to know though. They gave us all of our weapons and they even brought my own bag with my journal inside.

"I wonder if we can get that lighthouse working," Sana said and pointed at the lighthouse.

"Yeah, maybe a ship might come by and we can ask them to take us to the west!" Tzuyu said.

"I'll go check it out, you guys wait here..." I said and started walking upstairs.

"Wait... I should help you," Soobin said.
