Chapter 2- Awa'atlu

Nal'a, her sister, Tal'a and her best friend, Tamun, had finally arrived at Awa'atlu. They rode the whole night arriving at 7 in the morning.

[The sullys arrived the day before so they still have had no lessons]

They emerge from the water slowly where they are met by Ronal and Tonowari whom they had met before as their parents took them to the meetings sometimes when they were young but their children never appeared.

Ronal then hugs all three children before standing next to her mate once again to look at all of them. "I'm so sorry my children, what happened to your parents was terrible" The children all sigh trying hard not to burst into tears which was extremely difficult for Nal'a.

Her aunt, Yuri then runs up to Nal'a and pulls her into a tight hug pulling in Tamun and Tal'a as well. "Oh my children, I am so so sorry that this happened to you" she cried lightly sending tears down Nal'a's back. She must've been heartbroken, that was her sister in fact that was her twin, her other half, her everything.

"So I can stay?" Tamun asks. "Of course, there's more than enough room with just me and Rotxo" Yuri says. "Please if there's anything you need you may speak with us" Ronal reassures the children, "My son Aonung and daughter Tsireya are down by the pools" Ronal says.

"Don't be alarmed if you see forest people" Tonowari says, "They arrived yesterday seeking uturu and we agreed being that the father was Toruk Makto" he says as the children all nod. "My my, your tattoos are impressive, tsurak at age 13?!" Ronal says stunned seeing Nal'a's very detailed tattoos. Tattoos told stories and by looking Nal'a's, that is what she made out.

Nal'a nods. "Impressive indeed" Tonowari says, "We shall not keep you longer, you may head over to your new home with your aunt" Tonowari says as the children get their belongings and smile past the clan leaders following Yuri back to her and Rotxo's marui.

Rotxo wasn't there, "Where's Rotxo?" Nal'a asks. "He's probably out with Tsireya and Aonung helping the new kids" Yuri responds. "Who are they?" Tal'a asks. "The tsakarem and next Olo'eyktan of this clan" Yuri responds. "Hopefully I don't run into them" Nal'a mutters to herself as Tal'a nudges her elbow.

"So which pod will I be taking?" Nal'a asks. "Me and Tal'a can share one and you can share with Rotxo and Tamun" Yuri says. "Okay, no problem" Nal'a says setting her things in the marui pod. (Marui pods are like rooms and yes they had to share)

"Come on let's go look for Rotxo" Tamun suggests. "Maybe after I change" Nal'a says walking into her pod, closing the curtain-like woven material and changing.
