Niall was feeling anxious as soon as he stepped into the elevator. The enclosed space made him feel claustrophobic, a feeling he had experienced before but not in such a confined space. He tried to keep it together, but as the elevator began to move, he could feel his heart rate increasing and his breathing becoming more shallow.

"Are you okay, mate?" Liam asked, noticing Niall's discomfort.

Niall nodded, not wanting to draw attention to himself. But as the elevator stopped suddenly, trapping them between floors, Niall let out a small whimper.

"What's wrong?" Louis asked, turning to face Niall.

"I want to get out," Niall replied, his voice shaking.

The other boys assumed that Niall needed to use the bathroom and began to tease him about it. "Hold it in, mate," Zayn said with a chuckle.

But Niall's anxiety continued to escalate. He felt like the walls were closing in on him, and the air in the elevator felt thin and suffocating. He started to hyperventilate, his chest heaving as he struggled to catch his breath.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," Harry said, putting a hand on Niall's shoulder. "What's going on?"

"I can't breathe," Niall gasped.

Realizing that Niall was having a panic attack, the other boys became more serious. They tried to comfort him, assuring him that they would get out soon. But for Niall, the minutes felt like hours as he struggled to regain control of his breathing.

Finally, the elevator jolted back to life, and they made it to their floor. As the doors opened, Niall stumbled out, collapsing onto the ground as he continued to gasp for air.

The other boys rushed to his side, helping him to calm down and get his breathing under control. They apologized for teasing him, realizing that they had underestimated the severity of Niall's claustrophobia.

From that day forward, they made a point to be more understanding of Niall's needs and to support him through his struggles.
