Zayn, Louis, Liam, Harry, and Niall had been living together for a few years now. They were all good friends and enjoyed each other's company. They had just finished watching a movie and were getting ready to go to bed when Zayn walked in, tears streaming down his face.

The other guys all looked at each other in confusion. They knew that Zayn was a bit of a prankster and liked to mess around with them.

"Ha ha, very funny, Zayn. You had us going for a minute there," Louis said with a smirk.

But Zayn just continued to cry. The other guys exchanged worried glances, unsure of how to react.

"Come on, mate, what's going on?" Liam asked, his tone a little more serious now.

Zayn took a deep breath and wiped his eyes. "It's my little sister. She's really sick and they don't know if she's going to make it."

The other guys all looked at each other, unsure of what to say. They had never seen Zayn like this before, but they still couldn't shake the feeling that he was just playing a prank on them.

"Seriously, Zayn, this isn't funny," Niall said, rolling his eyes.

Zayn just shook his head. "I'm not joking. My sister is really sick."

The other guys all looked at each other, still unsure of what to do. They decided to just leave Zayn in the living room and head off to bed.

But as the night went on, they couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. They all kept thinking about Zayn and his sister, and they started to feel guilty for not taking him more seriously.

The next morning, they all gathered in the living room to find Zayn still sitting there, looking tired and upset.

"Zayn, we're sorry. We didn't mean to doubt you," Harry said, looking sheepish.

Zayn just nodded, still looking upset. The other guys all gathered around him, offering him their support and comfort. They knew that they couldn't change what was happening with his sister, but they could at least be there for their friend during this difficult time.
