12. You Belong With Me

Y/N's POV

"Y/N!"

"Y/N"

"Y/N!"

I jolt awake and see Soph and Dan standing around my bed I felt like I got hit by a truck. I slowly move around and get up.

"You have to get ready for Homecoming come on" Soph says

"I'm not going" I say

"What?!" Soph says

"Why not?" Dan says

"Well thanks to Olivias scene Taylor wants nothing to do with me so as a protest I am not going" I say

"Come on you deserve to enjoy yourself too you won the game last night" she says trying to make me feel better but all I wanted was Taylor.

"What will it take you to go?" Dan says

"Taylor " I say

" What if I try to convince her to go" Dan says

" I don't know guys I don't want her to feel forced" I say sad

"I've done enough to torture her" I say

"No that was Olivia don't let her win" Soph says

"I'll think about it okay you two go don't worry about me enjoy yourselves" I say hoping they give it a rest.

They eventually leave telling me they love me, but love was the last thing I wanted to think about. It's now an hour before homecoming and I spent the whole day sulking over what happened feeling worse and worse everytime.

Then something unexpected happened my dad barged in scaring the hell out of me. 

"No" he said

"What? No? No to what?" I ask

"You are not gonna stay in here when the girl last night my daughter was determined to win Taylor back well you're not gonna do it feeling sorry for yourself. So you're gonna get dressed and go to homecoming okay? " he said

"But dad I-" I start

"No No buts" he says not letting me finish

"You're not really gonna force me are you?" I ask

"no but she will" he says 

Mrs.Swift walks in and I thought I was dreaming.

"Y/N I know what happened but I know you and your family, so don't let this one thing stop you I know Taylor is stubborn but don't give up on each other. Now for tonight do me a favor and go enjoy yourself and be with your friends okay?" she says

"What is going on?" I say still feeling like I'm losing my mind

"What is happening is we are gonna go and if you're not up and dressed by the time we are outside we are gonna have problems" My mom says 

When did she get in here? Why are they so determined for me to go. Soon they walk out and to be honest a part of me was curious could they really force me but another part was genuinely scared of what would happen if I didn't go.

So as much as I wanted to fight it I got bathed and got dressed hoping tonight would be better.

Taylors POV

Today was homecoming and I didn't want to hear a single thing about it but my mom and Austin both kept asking me saying I should go but knowing how upset I was they let it go. 

I spent most of my day studying for the test on Monday deciding that was more important. 

A knock was heard at my door and I told them to come in without thinking much about it.
