Y/N's POV

We had a small break in the studio for Thanksgiving and now we were all getting back to it ready to continue working on Taylors album. It had been a while so the rest of us were working from scratch while we waited to see if Taylor had come up with anything that she wanted to add to the album. So right now it was just Shellback, Max and I. We were all messing around with instruments waiting for Taylor since we had already readied all of the equipment.

After about 15 minutes of nonsense playing Taylor finally arrived and I was nervous but excited to see her since it had been a while.

"Hey sorry I am late everyone" she says

"No problem you're our star so you're not late we were just early" Shellback says making Taylor laugh.

"Alright so do you have anything for us today?" Max asks

"Yeah, can someone get me a guitar" she says

I hand one to her and for the first time today she looks at me and smiles. She takes it and starts getting her chords right before she says "Lyrics aren't perfected yet but this is the general idea"

We all nod in agreement as she starts playing.

"You should take it as a compliment that I walked away and made fun of the way you talk ......."

" You should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong "

"I got a boyfriend he's older than us but I haven't seen him in a couple of months you're so cool it makes me hate you so much "

"Whisky on ice but somethings not right you ruined my life by not being mine"

"You're so gorgeous I can't say anything to your face Just look at your face and I'm so curious what's it like making me feel this way but what can I say you're gorgeous"

We all clap as she stops playing and says "That is all I got so far" 

"That was freaking amazing" Shellback says

"Yeah great job" Max says

Then she looks at me waiting for me to say something.

"You're amazing!" I say smiling at her and she blushes lightly before setting the guitar down.

Now that we had some base of an idea Shellback, Max and I all worked on beats and arrangements for Taylor to hear and see what she likes and doesn't like. 

We worked for over an hour on that alone finally deciding on something.

"Okay Taylor come check this out" I say and she walks over and nudges me to scoot over in the chair.

I do as she says and she sits next to me putting on the headphones. She listens carefully and smiles making me relieved that she seems to like it. 

"That is great you guys" she says but stays looking at me.

"Alright perfect" I say as I start to save it and make sure it is all placed properly.

As I do this Taylor stays seated next to me leaning close to me watching my every move and I can't lie it was making me very nervous. 

Once I was done we all took a break for lunch, Shellback and Max went out and I noticed Taylor wasn't eating anything so I took it as my chance.

"Hey wanna go get lunch together?" I ask with a small smile
