34. You Forgive You Forget But You Never Let It Go!

Taylor's POV

I had taken a dip out of the public eye and was focusing on writing music. I had kept to myself only allowing my friends and Joe to see me at my place on Cornelia Street. 

I was trying to avoid any publicity, while I worked wanting an environment that was peaceful for me. 

I would record myself whenever I had ideas so I wouldn't forget them.

After what happened with the Kardashian and Kanye drama then getting cancelled I was simply trying to heal. I knew I could try to forgive and forget but I for sure wouldn't let it go. 

I wanted to work on an album and I wanted it to be called Reputation all about my big ups and downs of my career but also about my newfound muse.

I was really reaching deep with everything and anything I've ever written for this album.

I had briefly had a conversation with Jack, Shellback, and Max telling them about it and how I wanted them involved in this album.

Joe had easily become a huge inspiration to me and he had oddly reminded me of Y/N but for once I felt at peace with this relationship feeling it might actually get somewhere.

I was gonna be meeting with Jack, Shellback, and Max in a week or so to start laying out some foundations for this album. 

I was excited to start this new journey but at the same time I was nervous.

Today I would have my friends over later but until then I was playing the piano repeatedly going over melodies as Joe walks in. 

"Hey that sounds great" Joe says

"Thanks" I say as he leans in to kiss me.

I smile at him as he sits down next to me. He started playing random chords with me and it reminded me of when I'd write with Y/N. It was the first time I had thought of her in a long time but it was more reminiscent now. I had told Joe about my high school sweetheart and how hard it was for me and he was always so kind and supportive. 

"I'll be in the studio a lot soon but eventually you can join me." I say looking at him.

"I'll be supporting you every step of the way as long as you want me there" he says smiling back at me. 

He had that boyish look that I like in a man, I really felt so understood with him.

"Thank you that means the world to me" I say 

"Always" he says as he wraps his arm around me pulling me into him. 

A week later......

Today I was preparing to head to the studio to record and try to do some writing with Jack, Shellback and Max. I was excited to start working, I was up early and grabbed my phone texting Selena and Blake to see if they wanted to join me. They quickly answered back agreeing. 

As I was getting ready I saw Joe coming in already dressed for the day.

"Hey mornin' " he says

"Hi good morning, going somewhere?" I say

"Yeah I gotta go gonna start filming for a project soon and we are gonna start a table read" he answers

"Well Good luck!" I say as he leans in to kiss me 

"Thanks you too let me know how it goes today when you get the chance" He says as he walks out to leave. 

I watch him and smile thinking how nice our secure relationship is.

Once I am done getting ready I just grab an apple as a quick bite. Feed the cats and give them water before I head out.

I then make my way to the studio and after driving for thirty minutes I finally arrive. I am walking into the building feeling the cold air hit me. I walk down to the studio we are normally in and briefly knock before Jack opens it. 

I quickly greet him as I walk in and am met with the last person I thought I'd see.
