49. Look What You Made Me Do

Y/N's POV

Taylor is recording her Look What You Made Me Do music video today and she invited me to come along and watch. She insisted it would be fun to catch me up and let me see what I've missed.

I was so excited to see Taylor film her video today. We arrive at the space she has to film, and she tells me the first thing they are filming is Taylors mountain I looked at her confused but intrigued to what she meant. She walks away to get dressed and I stay seated waiting before a bunch of woman walk out dressed in blonde wigs and different outfits I look with wide eyes slightly scared. A couple minutes later Taylor walks out in a black outfit that says rep on it and she looks stunning she greets the Taylors and talks making some behind the scenes videos. Soon she walks to the top of the stand and starts filming a part of the scene. I stare at her in awe as she films and smile thinking how surreal this all is to see her making history.

When she finishes that scene she walks down and before going to her trailer walking over to me and says "Get a good look at this Taylor now because you're gonna get a blast from the past soon"

I stare at her smiling and say "I will but I have to say you look stunning"

She smiles running her hand over my shoulders as my head follows her as she leaves. Taylor and I still hadn't talked about the kiss ignoring after everything that happened that night but she hasn't treated me differently or anything so I decided to also leave it alone. That didn't stop her from being touchy and flirty though.

Once she comes back she returns in her You belong with me outfit and I laugh seeing her acting goofy. She then films a couple different scenes as that version of herself for different parts of the video.

She then comes back and meets with the director and they talk about which Taylors will be fighting. I smile watching her taking charge as she says Fearless tour Taylor and Red Ring leader tour Taylor should be fighting.

Seeing her work like this is amazing her passion really shows and she just knows exactly what she wants and how she wants it.

She then leaves again coming back as Fearless tour Taylor I smile thinking how I never got to see her perform at this tour I grow a little sad that I've missed so much but that goes quickly as Taylor fights with her double and she is really letting some anger out making me laugh as she screams "I hate you get out of my house!"

Everyone working is getting a real kick out of this I loved seeing how comfortable she made everyone. She then goes to get changed again and as she walks away is being filmed for bts and says "I'm not sure where that came from I have no experience with home invasion but you know you just gotta follow the muse"

She returns and I smile thinking about how much works she is putting into this and seeing why she told me to be comfortable as it would take the whole day. She now wears her Red tour outfit and tries to film the fight but her hat keeps falling off. She was very determined to get it right though as she wanted it to be perfect.

The day goes on as she continues working on this changing outfits and going to film separate scenes and everyone looks like they are having a blast including Taylor and it makes me happy to know she is enjoying her work.

Eventually we all break for lunch and I am now with Taylor eating and she smiles at me looking at the red tour hat that she put on me when she was done wearing it and I just let her have her fun. Soon the other girls who posed as other Taylors joined us and we all chatted for a bit until it was time to go back.

The rest of the day consisted of alot of hard work from Taylor and the team. I was so excited to see the final product, but taylor said I'd have to wait until the release day.

A few weeks later .......

August 24, 2017

Today was the day the Look what you made me do video would release and I was at a release party she was having with a bunch of her closest friends and family. I was a little nervous as after all this time I hadn't thought about how I haven't spoken to Taylors parents in 11 years.

As everyone gathers together waiting to see it as the screen counts down from five minutes Taylor invites me to the kitchen for a moment and I walk in seeing two people who at first I didn't know and soon realized it must be her parents.

They both stare at me shock evident in their faces but they show nothing but love as they walk towards me pulling me into a hug and I smile hugging them back as they say "Y/N we've missed you so much I can't believe this" Mrs. Swift says specifically and Mr. Swift says "Taylor told us when she found out and we are so sorry we never knew anything"

I smile knowing everyone did what they thought were best but in the end the accident caused my memory loss even if she was there I would've hurt her and felt that it happened however it neeeded to for a reason. "It's okay and I know I can't remember to well our relationship but I know we were close so I've missed you too" they smile at me and we all huddle again in a hug this time with Taylor. We find eachother in the hug and she leans her chin on me and before we pull apart she kisses my cheek causing me to blush. Her parents watch our interactions as we head back out to watch her video with a minute left on the countdown.

I sit down and Taylor walks in and sits on my lap surprising me and I laugh but wrap my arms around her to hold her in place. She gets comfortable not worrying about anything and puts one of her hands on my neck and plays with the baby hairs I have. I try to ignore the feeling as everyone starts screaming "5.......4......3.....2......1!"

The video starts and I watch in awe seeing how it all came together so nicely. Taylor looks down watching my reaction. Everyone is screaming freaking out seeing it all for the first time.

Once the video comes to an end a scene where all her old Taylors talk to one another everyone laughs and screams at how she jokes about herself while still being iconic.

"You were amazing Taylor and the video was so good I loved it" I say

She turns to me smiling and says "Thank you your opinion means the most to me"

I smile and she asks "Did you have fun seeing all the old Taylors?"

"I did but I do wish I had seen them when it was actually happening I feel bad not having been there for you like I promised" I say looking down

"Don't worry you're here now and that is all that matters" she says meaning every word.

Soon she gets up and everyone is congratulating her and she thanks them smiling and soon goes to hug her parents as they tear up.
