50. It's Nice To Have A Friend

Y/N's POV

Today Taylors Reputation Album has released and it is all the buzz at the moment. Her songs and all her albums have sky rocketed to the top of the charts.

Taylor and I have been sleeping over at one anothers apartments lately and today she was in mine. We both sat in my room looking at all the positive fan comments which had Taylor smiling bigger than ever it made me so happy that she was getting good recognition since she deserves it more than anyone. Soon Soph barged in to my room screaming "Oh my gosh Taylor this album is amazing and I can't believe Y/N worked on it with you ahhhhhh I can't oh my this is wow!" Taylor and I both laugh at her reaction. Soph soon walks back out and starts playing the music on her speaker jumping around dancing to it as she left my door open we can still see her. This causes Taylor and I to watch her momentarily when we hear keys opening my apartment door and in walks Dan and Sam who arrived with bags of food for breakfast. Taylor and I get out greeting them and we all sit to eat while Soph decides she couldn't stop dancing and would grab some of her food and eat but remain dancing to Taylors new album.

Dan says "Wow you worked on this Y/N this is like inception for me" he laughs

"Yup I'm very proud if I do say so myself" I say smiling wide

Taylor smiles at my happiness having worked with her.

"Taylor how do you feel your first album in 3 years?" Sam asks interested

"I am very proud of it since I had a year not doing any music whatsoever after my 1989 tour I was feeling so strange but with the drama going on I ended up just living life for a while and I have to say I think it worked out the way it needed to. The original album I had planned didn't end up getting made just yet and I ended up writing Reputation instead but I like the timing of it" Taylor says while peaking at me momentarily as I also listened to her intrigued as I didn't know before Reputation she was actually gonna work on something else but then switched it.

Soph finally relaxes and joins us sitting at the table. We all enjoy one anothers company and sit and eat for hours. Eventually Taylor and I make our way back to my room and sit on my bed. We smile at one another not feeling the need to speak. I soon decide to play on my play station and Taylor will sometimes go hang with the others when I play or just sit watching me.

This doesn't last for long as I then end up back on the bed laying down staring at the ceiling with Taylor. She was telling me how happy she is to release an album and not be doing too much press in her return as she'd be too overwhelmed right now to enjoy it. This caused me to turn my head and look at her grabbing her hand and intertwining our fingers. She then turns to look at me too and smiles. Saying how happy she is to have me back in her life as one of her best friends. I smiled even if my feelings for her started to grow I'd take being her friend over forgetting her again.

Time jump.......

Taylor would go on those next couple of months to win awards and perform a song or so at an award show. Throughout this time I didn't see her as much as I was working with Ariana Grande on her new album that she'd be releasing late 2018. I couldn't believe how quickly I started working with some of the bigger names in the industry but nothing could compare to my time working with Taylor.

We would stay in touch texting and calling as much as possible. We did see eachother during Christmas and New Years but that was it after her Reputation album she'd be preparing for her tour which she invited me on. I told her I'd be there and have been making sure to work hard so I can part with Ariana in time to be with Taylor throughout her tour. I was excited to finally see her perform after all these years knowing I'd seen her when she performed her debum songs I just couldn't remember but I had a feeling her Reputation Tour would be an experience unlike any other.
