All was quiet within the house, with everyone in their own room doing something. Akali was sleeping after battling a cold, Kai'sa was doing art, having music playing quietly in the back ground, Evelynn was in the garage fixing up her cars, and Ahri was finishing up designing her next batch of beauty products. The youngest of the group started giving out small whimpers, and moving slightly, her face contorted to one of fear, as her dreams battled with her.

Her cries got louder, from small whimpers to soft words being spoken and more restless as it went on. Suddenly with a loud cry, Akali shot up reaching for the end of the bed, her eyes wide as saucers with a few pinpoint tears in the corners, though not for long as her eyes quickly filled up with tears. She could hear quick footsteps and silently cursed herself for being super loud, and hoped that she didn't wake any of them up.

Ahri was the first through the door followed by Kai'sa. Both looked worried as they scanned the rappers room before coming towards the bed. Sitting down on either side of the sniffling rapper, they gently touched alkali's shoulder. "Hey Kali, bad dream?" The slightest nod treated her words and both grimaced as they started gently rubbing Akalis back to soothe her before they asked any more questions.

Ahri softly started singing a song she remembered from her youth, and though she couldn't remember half the words it helped to calm down the young rapper regardless and before long she removed her head from her arms. "There you are.. do you or can you talk about it sweets?" Kai'sa said softly to her girlfriend, who just slightly nodded. The leader and dancer waited calmly for Akali to start, and with a deep sigh Akali did.

-dream-
Akali had been working on a few song projects in the studio rented out for K/DA, she had her headphones in and though her eyes were starting to hurt by the multiple screens, she continued, loving the hard work of editing the music together. She had felt her phone buzz and without hesitation pulled it out and clicked on the notification.

She saw it was from her mom, which surprised her slightly, as her mother hated that she was a rapper now then disowned her. 'You are wasting your time. They will leave you soon and you know it. Come home and save yourself the trouble. They will dump you soon anyway ' Akali sighed softly and pocketed her phone again, grabbing her helmet and keys before walking out of the recording studio to her Bike and jabbed in the key. After roaring to life, the sleek black motorcycle, had quieted to a soft purring as Akali go on and shot off into the busy streets towards home.

She weaved around cars and dodged angry drivers like it was a second nature, and to her it was. She rode her bike where ever she could and had fallen in love with it the moment she saw it. Originally it was just gunna be used for their music video More, but then Akali asked if she could just keep it and Ahri had given in, agreeing only if Akali promises to be careful, a promise she had yet to break.

Arriving home she let herself into the grage, parking the motorcycle away from Eveylnns collection of cars and shelves of tools and other momentos before heading to the garage door that leads into the house. Before stepping in she stripped out of her riding jacket and shoes, whacking the button to close the garage, and hung them up in a little locker Akali had by the door. She could smell something really good cooking and her stomach rumbled loudly.

Opening the door allowed the scent of food to hit her full force and she walked in smiling at the girls as they talked in the kitchen. Kai'sa was making the food, dancing through the kitchen as she reached for different ingredients, while Ahri and Evelynn were sitting at the table smiling and laughing softly. Akali went to go join them but then the conversation reached her ears. "I can't believe we settled for such a mediocre rapper." Evelynn had said, her voice soft, yet nothing to show she didn't mean those words. "We had to find a rapper quickly though... we had finished most of the song and none of us could have rapped." Ahri shook her head yet not a ounce of regret on her face. What Ahri said was true.. when they approached her, a skinny street rapper, they said that they needed a rapper, that they had a half finished song and it just needed a rap part. That none of them could rap and that Akali was the best one. With her wild spirit and even wilder lines, she grew to become one of the band's favourite quickly. "Ah cmon guys, it's not her fault." Kai'sa begain and Akali smiled hearing her best friend speak kindly. "After all, when someone comes from a dojo, their rapping skills probably would be mediocre at best.." Akali gasped softly, and closed the door quietly. She leaned against the garage door, following it to the ground and pulled her knees to her chest, and hid her face in her arms. Their words and her mothers swarming in her head as she tried to contain herself. All the voice getting louder until she finally woke up.

"And th-that's when y'all came in.." Akali said in a very soft voice. The entire time her head was bowed, hand fidgeting with the blanket as fresh tears welled in her eyes as she waited. Waited for Ahri to kick her out, saying that what she said was true and now they didn't need a rapper. For Kai'sa to say they are over, she's disgusted with such a useless rapper and to leave her sights but neither happened. Akali looked up slightly, confused on why there was no yelling and was met with Ahri throwing herself forward to hung the young rapper. Akali sat frozen as Kai'sa soon joined the hug.

"Don't listen to your mom or nightmares Kali okay? You are the best god damned rapper I have ever seen. Even if we did pick you for a one time thing we would've asked you to stay okay?" Ahri said firmly but softly, sad that the rapper still battles with her head about her rap skills, and her moms texts hardly help. She was determined fo finally get the rapper to see that she was never their last pick and she would always be the best rapper. Akali finally hugged back, fresh tears pouring from her eyes as she hugged them back tightly. Soon though the tears stopped and Akali's grip slacked as the rapper slowly fell back asleep.

Ahri chuckled softly and gently leaned her onto Kai'sa getting up to help the dancer tuck the youngest in. When they were done the leader left, whispering a quiet good night to the both of them before her tails disappeared. Kai'sa went to follow when a soft grip on her wrist stopped her. Under the purple, black and white covers, the rapper looked smaller than normal, though her hair wasn't less than wild, sprawled over the matching pillow. "Yes sweets?" Kai'sa said softly turning to give her full attention to the rapper.

"Ca-can you sleep here..? Wi-with me?" Akali asked in a unnatural soft voice. Kai'sa smiled and nodded seeing Akali eyes light up as she scouted over opening the blankets to let Kai'sa lay down, and she did without hesitation, bringing the rapper as close as she could and throwing the blanket over both of them. She felt Akali snuggle into her and smiled whispering softly before sleep took her as well.

"I've got you Akali, nothing will hurt you with me and the others protecting you. I promise"
