Ahri's point of view
the foxes ears were pinned back as her headache worsened. she finally relented and closed her laptop, and leaned back in her chair and using her hands to block the bright suns rays from her eyes. it didn't seem to help much and she whimpered softly.

she had a headache since she woke up this morning. it started light, a faint pressure behind her eyes as she got dressed for the day and sat down to finish up a few things for her makeup line, Foxy, sale coming up. she ate a protein bar  and drank the water Kai'sa brought to her, which didn't seem to help in the slightest, and the longer she stared at the computer screen the worse her head seemed to pulsate and radiate pain.

deciding that she had did enough, she pushed herself up and to her window to pull the blackout curtains closed before heading back to her bed and curling under the covers, keeping her ears pinned against her head, and jaw loose, since clenching her jaw seemed to make her headache worse. she closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh, ending in a whimper as her head pulsed with pain.

a soft knock alerted her there was someone at the door. muttering a soft come in, praying that they heard her since she didn't want to yell with her headache. luckily she heard the door open and light steps alerted her of someone coming closer. a soft hand touched the blanket where her back was and she hummed softly at the touch, feeling the sharp points of the nails lightly digging into her back. "hello hon.. headache?" Evelyn's soft voice rang through the silence, softly spoken to not agitate her headache anymore, which Ahri was thankful for. "mhm" came the soft reply.

Evelyn hummed softly, then her touch disappeared, and ahri heard her footsteps retreating, and the soft click of her door. a few minutes pass, and Ahri felt herself falling asleep as another quiet knock rang out. she mumbled a "enter" slowly poking her head from the blankets. she glanced around the dark room to find evelynn holding a steaming cup of something. curious Ahri sat fully up and titled her head.

evelynn reached her bed and gently handed her over a cup of tea. "this'll hep with your headache love, then try to get some sleep." evelynn said softly, as Ahri tok the cup gently and carefully to not spill it. "thank you eve.." Ahri mumbled taking a sip of the tea and humming softly with a small smile. the cup was gone within a few minutes, and as Ahri slipped back under the covers, she heard humming.

with a small smile, she felt her head hit the pillow, the headache dulling slowly, and as she closed her eyes, she felt someone rubbing her back. she hummed softly and leaned into the touch, tail wagging slightly before she fell fully asleep. the blissful darkness and strings of sleep pulling her away from the pain of the headache.
