loving embrace

It had been a long day for the band, a long day of sitting in a dusty studio, recording the same lines over and over as they got ready for their newest song. Akali was ready to just collapse in bed and sleep for a week when they finally got back to the mansion. She was quick to walk in and head to her room, pulling her hat and hair tie out of her hair as she climbed the steps. Reaching her room she pushed the door open, and using her foot to close it she grabbed pjs and immediately hopped into the shower. Once she was clean and in pjs she all but waddled to her bed and collapsed onto it with a soft sigh. A soft knock on the door had her mumbling a 'enter' her face still smushed into the pillow. 

A quiet laugh greeted her, and she recognized the voice as Kai'sa. She felt the bed dip, and a hand run through her hair. She grumbled softly earning further into the touch, acting like cat and earning a chuckle from the dancer. "How are you feeling Kali?" Kali just mumbled. "tired.." Kaisai chuckled softly and started braiding her hair quietly, noticing the rapper slowly falling asleep. once realizing that, she quietly detached herself from the rapper and snuck out, sighing softly glad the rapper fell asleep. Passing the other rooms she realized that Ahri and Evelynn had fallen asleep in evelyn's room, closing the door the dancer set about shutting the house down for the night, before climbing into bed beside the rapper and falling asleep herself. 

The next morning had her up early, chuckling when she saw the rapper sprawled out over the bed, her stomach exposed by her movement and a few stray strands loose from the loose braid. pushing herself up Kai'sa gathered her own hair, running her hands through it to detangle it and putting into a ponytail as she headed downstairs to start breakfast. Soon enough the Diva and Leader of the group joined her just as she finished up, both still very much half asleep, their hair still a mess and pjs rumpled. Makeup free face squinted and rubbing their eyes as they sat down at the table. "Good morning you two" Kai'sa said cheerfully, laughing at the squinted glare Ahri gave her. "How the fuck are you so cheerful in the morning..." Kai'sa just shrugged and put their plates in front of them. "dont know.. just always a morning riser. Is Akali up?" "Yea I think she's working on her lyrics some more.. heard music playing from her room at least." Evelynn spoke up, before digging into the plate of food. 

Sure enough faint music could be heard from the door, the beat of their song loud and a fainter voice singing alongside it. Opening the door the music hit full blast. She saw the rapper at her desk, headphones on her ears and head bobbing with the music as she rapped out her lyrics, making sure they sounded good. Her leg was bouncing alongside the beat, and she looked fully in her zone. Kai'sa smiled gently at the sight before she moved in, gently tapping Akali's shoulder to gain her attention. "HI Kai'sa! is breakfast ready?"  Kai'sa nodded leaning against the chair and wrapping the rapper into a hug, smiling when Akali snuggled into it. "How's lyrics going love? Getting far?" Akali nodded, no intent on moving from the dancers arms. Kai'sa just kissed the top of her head, accepting the open love Akali was willingly giving. Remembering the times when the rapper first joined, she had been so cagey and closed off. It had taken nearly a year for the group to finally get the rapper to open up, and accept that she deserved the love they gave her. 

"Cmon lets get some breakfast in you Kali" Kai'sa said, grabbing the rappers hand and gently dragged her to the kitchen. Akali willingly following though wisely biting her tongue. There she joined the girls in breakfast joking and teasing with them, willing to take the lightness of the day before it disappeared.
