"Akali sit still" "why did I even agree to this " "because you love meee and would do anythinggg" "oi shut up, I regret this now!" "Oh relax I'm almost done" "ughhhhh" two pairs of voices drifted down the hall and to Ahri, who smiled softly hearing it. She was greatful that the two youngest of the group managed to find a connection, it helped while Akali was adjusting into the household. Though sometimes the two could be trouble. "What are they up to now..?" Evelynn said softly from her spot on the chair, proofreading Ahris email. "I have no idea.. but with those two it could be anything." Ahri said simply, trying to keep a smile from her face at Akali's complaints.
"Should we go check on them? Make sure they arnt making a mess?" Evelynn asked turning in the chair to look at the leader. "Do you think we should? They seem fine and if they are entertained without Akali getting into fights then that's fine by me." She shrugged and walked over to Evelynn. "Is the email good?" At Evelyn's nod Ahri smiled and sent it out, kissing the side of Evelyn's head, then heading out of her room. Footsteps confirmed Evelynn following and they heard the sounds of a scuffle as she walked past the rappers door,.
Ahri quickly opened it to find the room messier than it already was, with paint and hair dye all over the place, the quiet sounds of music came from the laptop, most likely Kai'sa's touch based on the choice of music, was drowned out by the sounds of giggling and shuffling. Which drew ahris attention to the ground where Kai'sa and Akali were in the middle of a play fight. "What in the world are you two doing..? Ahri jumped slightly forgetting that Evelynn was right behind her. The two youngest members had the same reaction freezing and glancing up at the Diva.
Akali quickly but gently shoved Kai'sa off and stood up dusting herself off as she stumbled over an explanation. Some parts of her hair half braided, while others were in little clips, making the young rapper look younger than she was. "Sor-sorry! Kai'sa thought it would be a good idea... then she said something so I tackled her... it was all in good fun I swear.. I didn't hurt her at least I do-" "relax Akali, you are fine love, we were just curious on the giggles and talking." Ahri said walking over to calm the young rapper down. Pulling the rapper into a hug, which she melted into, she took the chance to ask Kai'sa what happened.
"We were bored.. and I asked if I could do her hair, which is why her hair is such a mess right now. I was gunna dye little sections but she kept moving so thought agaisnt it." Evelynn nodded as she slowly walked in herself. "And the little scuffle?" Kai'sa's just shrugged. "Like she said, I said something playfully and she tackled me. It's all in good fun don't worry!" Akali just nodded faitbtly agaisnt Ahri, before pulling away. "Ye-yea! Just messing around!" Ahri nodded chuckling softly.
"Well then don't let us stop ya, we will be downstairs if you need us okay?" Both the rapper and dancer nodded before Akali retook the seat. Soon the banter started again between them and Ahri and Evelynn left with a soft chuckle.
Around dinner time they heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Ahri was the first one to look up to greet them and tell them dinner was ready when she froze. The rapper had blonde hair along with black streaks. The bottom of her ponytail though was a bright pink, rebelling against the other two colors. Akali froze, worried that Ahri didn't like it and started to back away before Kai's sa grabbed her arm gently. "It's okay 'Kali, you just look alittle different, remeber it suits you." Akali nodded and followed the dancer in head down to not meet their gaze.
"Akali! You look amazing! Kai'sa you did amazing job!" Ahri said walking forward to inspect the hair dye. At that Evelynn turned around and caught sight of the new change. She showed slight surprise but smiled seeing Akali's nervous look. "You look dashing love don't worry." Akali smiled faintly at the compliment happy that the group was okay with the change.
Since she was little her mom never let her change her hair, stating that her choice would make people think the wrong ideas. She didn't mind her hair, but she thought it didn't fit her. Now that she is out of the reaches of her mother, she had wanted to change that right away, and was thankful that Kai'sa was completely okay with doing it with her, and that the oldest members wouldn't kick her out or shun her over the hair color change.
She sat at the bar listing to the others talk, feeling content and happy that she managed to find a good group, a good family.
