Hidden Injury pt 3

Eveylnn felt cold dread fill her veins when the leader spoke. she could feel herself start shifting into her demon, smoke starting to make her form hazy. she was snapped out of it when Kai'sa grabbed her arm gently before she did something she would regret. "Eve.. dont we got people watching.. its okay.." "non of this is okay Kai! Akali is gone, taken from the hospital and they aren't going to tell us?!" Ahri stepped up at that point, grabbing evelynn gently though firmly and dragged her outside, her ears still pinned against her head, the only clue that Ahri was worried. once they were outside Ahri let her go and gripped her shoulders. "Eveylnn. look at me." Eveylnn dragged her gaze to Ahri's face, the leaders face mirroring her worried and angry expression. 

Ahri's tails had flared out as soon as they passed the doorway, all hanging low showcasing her worry further."i know your worried, we are too but shifting and attacking the staff in there wont do anything about it. if we have any chance to find Akali and get her safely, we need to calm down." Eveylnn glared at the leader but seeing her reasoning fights to calm herself down, and slowly felt herself returning to her human form. Kai'sa had rushed out of the doors as soon as Eveylnn shifted back, her symbiote chirping distressed at her shoulders. "you remember when you say it say 'contact Mayyam Ahri?" Ahri just nodded, raising a eyebrow at the dancers rushed speech. "im pretty sure we know who took her.. and you know too." it took a second but finally Ahri's eyes widened then flashed dangerously. Kai'sa was quick to calm down the leader, talking softly and letting Ahri hide her face in her shoulder, letting Ahri get out all the feelings. "we need to go. this ass needs to be stopped, who knows how much worse Akali could get with her mother..." Eveylnn said, cutting their calming moment, though neither were to upset about it.

Within the next couple minutes they were on their way. Eveylnn was behind the wheel just barely driving the speed limit as she raced to get their Maekne back. Ahri was in the passenger seat, her tails waving anxiously, ears pinned tight against her head as she nibbled on her nail. Ahri's phone dinged every so often as she texted back and forth to their manager, keeping them updated on the group, and Akalis, status. Kai'sa was in the back of the car, leg bouncing nervously as her symbiote chirped and hummed with worry. they all knew how Akali's mother was to her growing up. when they first met the rapper she was closed off, rough, and quiet. never wanting to let them in. after a night,are had woken them up,, they managed to get Akali to trust them enough to share her load, and slowly they earned the trust of the young rapper, and slowly learned the background of Mayyam Tehti.

It had just reached dawn when the looming shadows of the dojo in front of them. the city lights were far behind them, left behind almost 4 hours ago, when they reached windy roads of the mountain. Eveylnn slowed down to a decent speed limit, so they didn't go careening off the side of the mountain, gently reached over and nudged Ahri. the girls had fallen asleep, their anxiety draining them into a fitful sleep. Ahri mumbled and lifted her up, taking in where they were before sitting up fully. "why go through the trouble of taking your daughter back.. if you didn't care for her anyway.." Evelynn only shrugged, pulling into a open space by the Gate and tuning off her car. "if its only to cause harm to Akali, Im going to make her pay for it." Ahri didn't comment, only pushing the door open to get out, followed shortly after Eveylnn after waking up Kai'sa gently. "cmon love, we are here.." Kai'sa grumbled softly and slowly woke up, taking abit longer to figure out where she was, but once she noticed both Eveylnn and Ahri she woke up fully before pushing the door open. Ahri had approached the giant gate and knocked roughly against it.

"Hey?! we are here for Akali Tethi!" the yells and ponding didn't seem to do much, but as Ahri went to hit again the door was slowly pushed open. the disheveled form of a older gentleman met the group of girls, staring each of them down confused. "yo must be mistaken, we dont have a Akali tethi, not since she defected." His voice was calm, a huge difference to Ahri's pissed off stance and tone as she spoke again. "You have Akali here, i know you do because Mayyam took Akali. now tell me where she is so we can help our girlfriend, or so help me you can join the others keeping us from Akali in hell." the mans face went from confusion to surprise. "wa-wait.. Akali is here..? Mayyam has her?" Ahri nodded tails flaring out agan. "Akali was hurt and brought to the hospial.. they wouldnt let us see her and then i head the nurse talking to another about how someone took Akali.." the man froze eyes wide. Mayyam would risk harming her daughter more by taking her out of the osptial to just bring her back."im Shen, i was Akali's old mentor, and the one who pushed her to leave the dojo to rap.. if shes here then shes in Danger. cmon we dont have enough time." the girls follows Shen in, ready to fight to get their rapper and girlfriend back.
