Comfort in the smaller things

K/DA was just relaxing on their couches. It had been a long month of production and now that Pop/Stars was out they can relax for abit, before fans start raving for a new song.

They were watching some old movie, that Akali forgot the name of. She was pressed agaisnt Kai'sa and Ahri while Evelynn leaned on Ahri's other side. They were about half way in the movie when Akali's phone suddenly rang.

Pulling it out and checking the caller Id her face hardened. "Gotta take this, I'll be right outside and back in a jiffy." She wiggles out from inbetween The two others and pulled the sliding back door open stepping out.

Kai'sa's POV:
Ahri reached and paused the movie glancing at the back door. "I wonder who's calling her?" Evelynn just snuffed. "It isn't our business foxy, it's probably a old fri-" Evelynn was cut off by sudden yelling. As quick as it started it stopped and they can see Akali walking back in muttering into the phone. "Whatever. bye."

Akali POV
She jammed the end call button and let out a sigh before closing the sliding door and joining the others on the couch. She pressed her side more agaisnt Kai'Sa seeking the comfort the dancer usually has. "They were all quiet but decided against talking to her as she would've just shut down.

Later that night Akali was knocked out in her bed snoring softly. She had been tossing and turning for a good while before she finally just passed out. Her dreams took a turn and formed her mother right infront of her, along side Faey, Her mentor and teacher Shen, and even the K/DA members. "Your useless" "you'll never be a big shot rapper" "you did this to me, your stupid plans of being a rapper!" "You were never a good rapper, we just needed someone quick." "I wonder how long until they kick you off." "You should just give up this and come home."

The forms of her mother, Faey, K/DA members and even Shen kept reacting their lines. Akali started whimpering softly in her sleep before crying out and curling up to protect her head. "St-stop!" "Stop it now!" "STOP" with a scream she bolted up and clutched her hair tightly tears slowly falling from where they gathered in her eyes. She sniffled then tried furiously to wipe them away with no such luck.

Resigning she pulled her knees into her chest and let herself cry not hearing her door slowly open.

Kai'Sa's POV:

She was shaken awake by a scream in the room next to hers. Getting up quickly she opened her own door to see Ahri and Evelynn peering out from the room across from hers. "Was that one of you guys?" Kai'sa whispered softly praying that it wasn't who she thought it was. "Nope, we thought it was you.." Ahri answered. "Crud..." was all Kai'sa said before she was rushing to Akali's door opening it gently.

The rappers room was a disaster with clothes everywhere, her desk filled with papers, her laptop, and headphones. Her walls where filled with fanart from fans, and some of her own drawings. Kai'sa gently moved past all of it to the shaking form on the bed ignoring Ahri and Evelynn standing at the door. Reaching over she tapped Akali on the shoulder softly.

"Darling? Are you okay?" As soon as the words left her mouth she was brought into a tight hug Akali crying softly into her neck. She gently wrapped her arms around Aklai and sat down on the bed rocking them softly. Ahri and Evelynn soon joined them both putting a hand on Akali's back. They waited patiently offering soft words of comfort until Akali's crying became soft hiccups and sniffles.

"What's wrong love? What happened?" Kai'sa spoke softly letting Akali answer in her own time. "Nigh-nightmare" came Akali's soft reply not loving her head from Her spot at Kai'sa's neck. "What about Akali?" Ahri spoke up from the side rubbing soft circles on the arm of the rapper. "my mother, Shen, and Faey.. yelling that I couldn't make it as a rapper... I was wasting time..." Akali said softly.

"What else love.. there was more wasn't there?" Kai'sa whispered. At Akali's nod she pulled back to look at them. "Y-you guys saying that I was a waste of space... that y'all just needed a rapper quickly and picked the quickest one.." they all sucked in a breath that made Akali hid her face into Kai'Sa's neck again.

"Akali you know for a fact that's not true. You are the best rapper we have! We didn't just pick up a scruffy rapper for a one time thing." Ahri said rubbing Akali's arm again." "Trust us darling, if we wanted a "quick" rapper, and still choose you, you would be stuck with us either way." Evelynn spoke up. "Besides we would all be fighting during production without you. You keep us relaxed and laughing."Ahri said smiling.

Kai'sa poked her side which caused the reaction she was hoping for. Akali yelped softly giggling softly and swatting her hand away. "Oh? Is little rouge here ticklish?" Ahri said smirking softly. "N-no! Don't you guys dare! AHHHAHAHAHAHAHHA!" Before she could squirm away all three started attacking her sides breaking her into laughter. Trying to get away from them Akali swatted, pushed and kicked, to no avail.

After awhile they finally stopped leaving the rouge giggling softly. Kai'sa flopped beside Akali and pulled her into a hug again. "You won't get away from us so easily love, and ignore what your mother and Faey say okay? You are a amazing rapper." Kai'sa said softly as Ahri and Evelynn laied down beside them. Akali was already asleep and they chuckled softly relaxing into the bed.

Soon the members of K/DA fell asleep content that their little rouge will be fine now.
