Akali was staying late in the dance studio, practicing her moves for Pop/Stars. She didn't want to let down the girls, and wanted to prove that she could be a useful asset to the group. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the young rapper, and she was determined to hold onto it tightly.

She was so in her thoughts she didn't realize where she was stepping and tripped over her jacket she had discarded awhile ago, landing hard on her wrist to try and stop her fall and protect her head. With a whimper she pushed herself up, flinching hard at the pain blooming from her head slowly and the sharp pain in her wrist. She kicked away the jacket and sighed and inspectied her wrist, to see no damage, though the sharp pain presisited. Shaking it off she decided to call it a night anyway and grabbed her stuff. Shoving on her jacket, flinching at the sharp pain again she texted the girls that she was on the way back and headed out, making sure to lock the door of the studio she sped off home.

When she pressed the garage door opener, she forgot about her wrist until she got it caught on the pocket of the jacket. Almost falling off the bike from the pain she bit back a whimper, her mother's words of "weakling" and "useless" ringing through her head. Pushing through the pain she rolled her bike in and parked it heading to the door and closing it before walking in.

"Ah Akali, love your home! How was the late night practice?" Ahri said getting up to hug the young rapper, who hugged back with a smile. "Hey Ahri, it was fine! I should have the moves down now, hopefully..." "I'm sure you do kid, why don't you go eat something!" Ahri grabbed her bad hand, and Akali bit back a yell as Ahri yanked her along to the island counter were a plate of food was waiting for her. Before Akali could hide the expression of pain, Ahri had turned around to tell her something, but all words were caught when she saw the look.

"What happened Akali? Are you okay? what hurts?" Akali shook her head pulling her hand away. "It's fine Ahri I stubbed my toe against my bike outside, I'm okay!" "But-" "Akali! How's the best Rapper we have?" Kai'sa said walking in with a smile, which Akali quickly reciprocated. "Hey Kai, I'm alright got the moves down! I hope I can rem-" "Akali what happned to your wrist?" Ahri butted in, which had Akali frozen. She had removed her hands to reach for her food, and forgot that Ahri was there. "Uh.. nothing! It's fine anyway." "No that looks pretty swollen hon, Kai'sa can you grab an ice pack or something?" Kai'sa nodded heading to the refrigerator, as Akali tried to stop them. "It's fine! It doesn't even hurt, it's an old wound." Though Ahri silenced her with one look.

"What happened Akali? That is definitely recent.. were you fighting again?" "N-no! Not after last time.. but I.. it's nothing Ahri just leave it please..."Ahri shook her head and gently took the bag of frozen peas Kai'sa offered and put it gently onto Akali's wrist. "Why would you try to ignore this Akali? It could not be bad but it could also be worse.. how did you even do this..." Akali looked away, not responding anymore and Ahr sighs softly. "It's okay Akali, we can wrap it up, it'll be sore but if it hurt for more than a few days let me know please.. we would need to check it out.."

Akali just nods, hissing softly as Ahri twitches it slightly to check her wrist. Ahri wrapped it up carefully before stepping back. "There you go kiddo, does that fell good?" Akali just nods and looks up at Ahri. "Thank you Ahri.. I'll.. be more careful.." Ahri just smiles and brings the rapper into another small hug. "It's okay Akali, no eat your food kid, then come join us for movie night okay?" Akali nods and careful turns to the plate of food starting to eat quickly as Ahri chuckles.

Soon she was cocooned in the warmth of Kai and Ahri watching a horror movie and commenting alittle about said movie. Her eyelids started getting heavy towards the end of the movie and as she slowly fell asleep she felt Ahri pull the blanket further up on her. Smiling softly she fell asleep feeling safe and most importantly loved by the girls.
