Fighting Queen

Akali was leaning against the wall, her hat low and mask high on her face hiding everything but her eyes. Her short jacket didn't hide her arms as hand marks and bruising littered her arms. her breathing was irregular, leaning awkwardly on onside as if breathing hurt. She had noticed the demon before she even stepped into the light, her footsteps easy to recognize plus her eyes shining bright among the dark. Evelynn walked over carefully knowing the rapper had seen her by now, and kneeled down to meet her eyes. "Akali?" She asked softly, reaching out to lift the bill of her hat gently before a hand shot out and grabbed her arm stopping her movement. She scanned the rappers body seeing no other wounds though after a beat the rapper spoke up. "Pretty lady like yourself shouldn't be on the floor..." She said softly, earning a soft scoff from Evelynn, though by the way her words slurred it was either alcohol or concussion "Akali what happened baby?" She asked softly, moving her hand to instead hold with both hands, noting the bloodied knuckles with a frown. The rapper didn't respond  instead shifted fiantly before hissing softly as she moved. Biting her lip, Evelynn grabbed her phone and texted the other girls, noting he found the rapper and will be taking her to the hospital. As expected the other two answered immediately, worried and firing off questions, that Evelynn couldn't answer. As she put away the phone she stood carefully before gently pulling on Akali's hand. "C'mon Hotshot.. Can you get up for me?" The rapper gave no response, though carefully got her feet under herself and stood up with the Divas help though leaned heavily against her, eyes closed as she fought through the dizzy spell and pain, as Evelynn led her back to the open and towards the Hospital. Once rriving the rapper was quickly taken back as Evelynn took a seat to wait for news on the rapper, and the other members to arrive.

 As soon as the doctor had finished his exam, he alowed the rapper to lay back, and gave her some painkillers to help before he met the other three in the waiting room. "Fractured ribs, bruising along her face and arms, and scratches on her arms, And slight concussion. She will be fine and make a full recovery. Do you know what happened?" All three shook their heads, just as confused. "No, I just found her like that.. She wouldn't tell me what happened.." The doctor nodded and wrote a few things down before leading the girls to the rappers room. "we want to keep her overnight just incase but she will be cleared to leave tomorrow." "Thank you doctor.." Ahri said softly, as the doctor nodded and said his goodbyes, promising to check in on them in a bit before heading down the hall leaving the girls at the door. Finally pushing the door open they saw Akali sitting against the headboard, hat and mask gone with bruises on full display. Ahri and Kai'sa grabbed the seats next to the bed while evelynn stood at her other side, taking her hand again. "Akali what in the world happened? I thought we told you no more fighting!" "they were talking shit about you girls, and the group. I couldn't let that stand." "You can and you will Akali! It's hard enough keeping it out of the press, I know it's in your blood but no more!" "I won't let them disrespect your names! You guys may be used to it, especially with how long you've been in this industry but I won't stand of it anymore. you guys are my family, gave me a chance despite being a mediocre rapper, I cant repay you guy enough and besides I owe you." Akali looked down at her and Eves hands holding tighter as she waited for the yelling.

"Owe us for what?" Kai'sa said softly, confusion clear in her voice as she reached over, resting a hand on Akalis leg. "Owe you guys for giving me a chance, loving me.. Love is transactional right?" She said softly in reply, glancing up to meet their gaze, finding pure shock and confusion. "What? who told you that?" Ahri said softly, leaning forward and meeting Akalis now confused look. "My mom? She said if you want love you have to show your worthy of it?" She flinched back as Ahri started growling, unsure if it was towards her or her mom, before a soft hand rubbed her back. "It's okay honey... It's not towards you I promise." Evelynn said softly as Ahri leaned forward and brought the rapper into a gentle hug. "It's never towards you Akali, Your mom was wrong honey, love is not transactional, you dont have to pay us back for caring for you I promise, you are the best rapper we have ever met and we are so glad we picked you over everyone else. I'm sorry for my earlier anger, I just dont like seeing any of you hurt...Thank you for protecting us out little dragon."  Akali bit her lip to keep from crying as Kai'sa and evelyn joined the hug, wrapping the rapper up in a tight loving squeeze, of course being careful of her ribs. when they pulled back, evelynn grabbed her hand tightly,  while Ahri grabbed the other and Kai'sa rested a hand on her leg. "Can you tell us what really happened honey?" Akali took a breath before nodding. "I was at the bar with Ekko, and someone put on our song, I heard some fuckers a few tables behind me start talking shit about you guys... and it just hit a nerve... I challenged them and somehow we got outside... thats all I remember..Ah shit Ekko! He's probably wondering where the hell I am!" she said quickly looking for her phone. Kai'sa handed it to her with a chuckle and she smiled thankful before sending a quick text to her friend, letting him know where she is. she could hear the girls talking around her and she smiled thankful that the girls won't push her away.
