Shadow dims the lights in the cabin, sitting on the comfy couch is Sonic, with a blanket wrapped around his figure, he was just purring feeling the warmth of the fire on his pelt.
A new photo hanging on the wall with the photos of Shadow and Maria on the ARK, and Team Dark, a single photo of Shadow and Sonic on their wedding day, in the garden.
Years had pasted since that day, and there was photo on the wall with Shadow holding Rouge's daughter.
Sonic looked up at the big flatscreen Television, laying on a little chao bed, was a black Chao snuggling a blue Chao.
"So are you okay with whatever?" Shadow asked his husband as he sat down next to the demon taking to blanket and wrapping it around himself.
"Mhm...as long as it's with you I'm not picky"
"Oh so you admit your picky"
Sonic pouted "S-Shut up...I don't mean to be picky..." he mutters.
Shadow only laughs as he nuzzles his pregnant husband, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. "Your cute when you pout"
"Just play the movie" Sonic mutters, even though he was purring softly.
Shadow turns the movie on...It was rather a tradition, during the last day of autumn, they would spend it in the living room watching a movie by the warmth of the fire...though winter was gonna be a little different since it was gonna the first winter that Sonic was ever gonna experience, but he wasn't to worried about it. Cause he had his husband with him.
Shadow felt something wrapped around his arm, he only pulls Sonic closer to his knowing that it was the demon's tail, he only nuzzles the demon and places his hand on small baby bump.
He's gotten everything he could ever ask for...he's gotten over that emotional trauma, thanks to Sonic, and he no longer had the feeling of being alone. He had someone he can spend eternity with.
Sure he was struck in one place...but he's been in that situation already, back on the ARK at least now he can finally fulfill Maria's wishes, and be happy will making someone else happy, who truly deserved it the most.
"This is our home"
Sonic only smiled and nuzzles into Shadow, "A place of joy...instead of a prison"
Shadow gently leans down to give Sonic a tender kiss on the lips, the demon only kisses him back.
"Love you Sonic"
"Love you too Shadow~"
