In the office, Odilia and her husband Adrian were having a conversation of their own. "You scared me so much," Adrian said.
"Oh, are you looking at yourself in the mirror? You're starting to be funny," Odilia joked.
"You always find meanings in everything. I was only checking myself," Adrian replied.
"Where were you?" Odilia asked.
"I had coffee with a friend. It was so good," Adrian said.
"We're here, jumping up and down while the company is going down. You're wandering around," Odilia complained.
"Congratulations. Please, let's not argue. I'm here now, see?" Adrian said.
"Uncle George asked about you," Odilia said.
"Okay, let's talk. Do you think he will accept Lily's offer?" Adrian asked.
"I don't understand," Odilia replied.
"Come on, don't pretend. Tell me what's going on. Is the ship sinking or what?" Adrian demanded.
"Suddenly, the stock prices started to rise. It's too much up and down. Don't you find it strange? It's like someone playing with us," Odilia said.
"Your father will turn you like him in the end. This week is the winning week, let's enjoy it. Life will hit again. It's not over yet," Adrian said, trying to reassure her.
Harry went to his daughter school to take her in a walk. He was glad to finally have some time with his daughter, Sarah. It had been a while since they had spent time together, and he was eager to make the most of it. As they walked to the park, Harry asked Sarah how she was doing, and she replied that everything was fine. However, he could sense that something was bothering her.
"Dad, when will we see each other again?" Sarah asked. Harry got surprised "What do you mean, we are seeing each othereveryday.".
"But are we talking. We haven't spent time together for a while."
Harry was taken aback by her question. "What do you mean? I came to pick you up from school. Aren't you happy? Is there a problem?"
Sarah quickly reassured him that everything was okay, but he could tell that she was still hesitant. "Why don't we grab some food and then go watch a nice comedy film? And afterwards, we can do some other activities," Harry suggested.
"No, Action, please!" Sarah replied eagerly.
Sarah smiled, excited about the prospect of spending time with her dad. "Let's go to Little Adam's, it's too closefrom here". she said, clapping her hands. "I've always had a craving for that place since childhood."
Harry was hesitant, as he knew it would be crowded, but he decided to go along with Sarah's suggestion. As they waited for their food, Sarah brought up the issue of Harry coming home late.
"Are you apologizing to me now?" Sarah asked. "Whatever you say goes. But please, next time don't come home so late."
Harry knew he had let his daughter down by not being there for her when she needed him, but he wanted her to know that he would always be there for her, no matter what. "Sarah, no matter what happens, I'll always be there for you. Do you believe me?"
Harry and Sarah made their way to the park again, enjoying the sunny weather and the sound of chirping birds. They settled down on a bench to enjoy their food.
In the best wedding planner office in the town, Simon and Eva were planning their wedding. The planner had promised them the best of everything, from the decorations to the catering, but Simon was feeling uneasy.
"What do you think, my love?" Simon asked Eva, trying to gauge her reaction.
"I liked it very much," Eva replied with a smile.
Simon was relieved, but when the planner accidentally touched Eva's hand, he felt a surge of jealousy. "Shall we go?" he said abruptly.
Eva was confused by Simon's sudden change in demeanor. "Didn't you like it?" she asked.
"I said let's go," Simon replied, his voice cold.
As they made their way out of the planner's office, Simon pretend that he forgot his phone and told Eva that he had forgotten his phone and would be right back. Eva waited outside for him, but as soon as he left, Simon went back into the office and confronted the planner.
"No one can touch the woman I'm going to marry except me," Simon said, his voice low and menacing. "Do you understand?"
The planner was taken aback by Simon's aggression, but he nodded nervously. Simon grabbed his phone and left the office, trying to hide his anger from Eva.
"What happened?" Eva asked when Simon returned.
"Nothing, my love. Let's go," Simon said, his tone clipped.
As they waited for their ride, Eva couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. She knew that Simon was prone to jealousy, but she had never seen him act so aggressively before.
As Simon declined the invitation to join the ladies in their pursuit of wedding dresses, he watched Eva going inside the boutique than he jupmed into the car to go home.
As Eva entered the wedding dress boutique, Eva couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in her chest. She had been dreaming about this day for years, and now that it was finally here, she couldn't wait to try on all the beautiful gowns. She was looking at the dresses with long tail while she was hugging her sister.
"Of course, long dresses are also in fashion. It's your preference," the designer said approaching them.
Eva's sister Lily Rose beamed with pride, introducing the women to her sister. The sisters were both stunningly beautiful.
As they perused the racks of gowns, Eva couldn't help but feel grateful for Lily's kindness. "Thank you very much for this. It's not a problem. I'll take care of you," Lily assured her.
"What kind of wedding dress did you wear at your wedding? Eva asked.
Lily rose hesitated for a moment before responding. "I didn't have one"
Eva took a deep breath, trying to push away the negative energy that had been following her all day. She was grateful for the distraction of wedding dress shopping with Lily Rose, but the events of the morning still weighed heavily on her mind.
"Anyway, something good is happening today finally thanks to you," Eva said, trying to redirect the conversation.
Lily Rose looked at her quizzically. "What happened?"
"We cancelled our event planner, Sarah," Eva replied with a sigh.
Lily Rose's eyes widened. "What happened with her?"
"I met her this morning. She's so hard to deal with," Eva explained, shaking her head. "She was supposed to come today, but I didn't call her."
Lily Rose's expression turned to one of concern. "But why do you think she doesn't like me?"
Eva hesitated for a moment, choosing her words carefully. "I think she saw you with Harry yesterday."
Lily Rose's face fell. "Please don't misunderstand, Lily. Sarah is a very sensitive girl. She lost her mother early, so she has something she carries with her at all times, you know. I'm saying this so you can understand her," Eva said gently.
"I understand," Lily Rose said, nodding. "Tell her that there won't be anything between me and her father."
Eva smiled, relieved that Lily Rose was being understanding.
As they continued browsing through the wedding dresses, Eva felt a sense of gratitude towards Lily Rose for being such a calming presence in her life. Maybe today wasn't such a bad day after all
