Olivia's car arrived at Harry's farm, and when she knocked on the door, the maid answered and informed her that Harry was not home. Olivia decided to leave, but the maid insisted she stay for tea, and she agreed. While the housekeeper was busy, Olivia found the time to sneak into Sara's room and took some hair she found on her comb, along with her toothbrush. After having her coffee, she left and headed straight to the lab.
As for Harry, he was behind Lily Rose once again. He opened the door to her office as she was packing her things, trying to convince her to forgive him, but she asked him to leave her life. He told her he came about work, as he was the photographer for the latest advertising campaign, and she didn't like the photos he took, so she angrily left. He followed her, begging her to accept him at work even if she didn't forgive him. Then he said a sentence that stopped her in her tracks: "Didn't you say I was the closest person to you?" Lily looked at him, recalling Mr. Tom's words, and asked, "Where were you that fateful New Year's Eve night?" He answered, "I was at home, why?" She replied, "I don't think there was anything more important than that party that night or more important than our meeting!" His surprise was evident as he asked, "What do you mean? What are you talking about?" But Lily didn't respond and continued to move.
However, he stopped her again and said, "Do you think I could be the culprit?" Lily denied, saying, "I didn't say that." He responded, blaming her, "But you thought about it, even for a moment, you put me on the same level as that dirty person." She said, "You wanted me to forget the past at any cost, didn't you? You didn't believe me like your family did. Anyway, forget it now and move on."
"Do you think I can do that? Do you really believe it?" She couldn't answer because Sara came and interrupted them, scolding her father for a long time, while Lily watched from a distance. Harry tried to appease her, but she pushed him away and returned to the taxi that had brought her. Meanwhile, Harry stood there helplessly, watching the two most important women in his life leave. He was then interrupted from his reverie by George, who had been observing the events from the beginning. George informed him that he had heard their conversation with Lily and offered him coffee in his office, to which Harry agreed.
There, George said, "You've neglected Eva a lot. I've given more time to the company than my daughter. Work has been like a child to me, and now my real daughter is leaving to start her own life, and I can't do anything about it." Harry opposed, saying, "But I haven't done the same with Sara. I've given her more time than necessary." "Let me give you a piece of advice," George said. "Value this time and make the most of it." Harry replied, "But I'll never hurt her." George continued sipping his coffee, "Maybe not intentionally, just like you did a while ago." Harry said, "From Lily's side, she's important to me, and from Sara's side, they're both important to me, but I can't balance them in the same equation." George advised, "You need to find a solution. Sara is a sensitive girl and has been through tough times often. She needs you more than anything. Imagine one day if you found out she's not your daughter." Harry asked, "What's the point of saying that?" George responded, "It's a remote possibility, but everything is possible in life. I'm telling you, cherish your time with her and build unbreakable bonds."
Harry remained deep in thought about George's words.
At the nightclub, Adrian was telling Harry about what had happened at the company, from the layoffs to the arrival of Mr. Tom after all these years, and the absence of Lily Rose after her conversation with him, whatever it was. Meanwhile, Harry, absentmindedly, continued to drink one glass after another. This was all he could do now that Odilia had tied her strings around him, the daughter of one of the city's wealthy elites.
At home, George blamed Olivia, saying, "You are the reason this bomb exploded between us today, and it even exploded in a way I've never seen the company throughout my life."
Olivia said, "It's not time for blame; now we need to unite to get through this ordeal."
George replied, "Or we'll sink together."
Olivia added, "But Ava needs to get married quickly before anything is revealed to the Quirk family."
"Of course, before Simon discovers anything about you," he said, then turned his back and went to sleep.
In the morning, at Harry's house, Sara bid farewell to a picture of her mother, promising, "No one will take your place, not in this house, not in your room, not with your belongings, not in your daughter's heart, and not..." She wanted to say "not in your father's heart," but she couldn't because she knew something that made a warm tear roll down her cheek. She went outside to find her father waiting for her at the door, but a taxi pulled up in front of them. He tried to get her to ride in the car, but she told him she had ordered a taxi and left.
In the Quirk family palace, Mr. Tom woke up his son in a panic, but when the reckless boy realized that his father had awakened him to go to the company, he went back to sleep. However, Mr. Tom became angrier with him and approached, standing at the head of his bed, saying, "If you don't follow my instructions, something worse than what happened in the past will occur." Adrian was surprised by his words and began to ask, "Do you mean that..." but Tom interrupted him, saying, "Don't ask me anything, just do as I said."
As for the company, everyone was shocked by the return of all the employees who had been fired the day before. Even George was sitting and discussing the matter with Alfred, saying, "We've taken a step back. Yesterday we did something, and today we've done the opposite."
Alfred responded, "It seems that Tom's words had an impact."
George replied, "I don't think so. She's playing a game, number of thoughts raced through Lily Rose's head more than the number of hairs on my head. She contemplated what she had done today against her plan..".
Alfred asked, "And what is her plan?"
George replied, "Forget it."
Alfred said, "I'm behind my words; I did this out of fear of Mr. Tom."
Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door, and Adrian entered, surprising the two men in the company. He informed them that he had come on his father's orders.
Odilia visited Lily Rose in her office, and after they both sat down, her first question was, "Why do you hate me, Lily?"
Lily replied, "Do you really know the reason?"
Odilia said, "Of course, we used to be closest friends, and now we're enemies."
Lily responded, "True, I don't understand the reason behind your feelings."
Odilia asked, "So what about your hateful glances towards me?"
Lily said, "I don't know, maybe because of 'I didn't see anything,' for example."
Odilia replied, "So, it's the old issue. Even Harry came and asked me about the same thing, but I really don't remember anything."
Lily inquired, "Are you saying you didn't see anything that night?"
Odilia said, "What do you mean by 'what happened'? Because I don't know anything. If something bad happened to you that night, and I was there or knew about it, whatever the reason, it would have found me standing before you."
Lily stated, "You didn't do that at the time, and you won't do it now."
In the analysis lab, both George and Olivia were eagerly waiting for the results. As soon as the responsible person handed the papers to Olivia, she opened them and started reading. Astonishment and helplessness were evident on her face as she read more. Tongue-tied, she placed the papers on the table and said, "I knew it. I had hoped your words were wrong, but I knew this would be the result. Rape really occurred."
At that moment, George was reading the papers in front of him, and his eyes seemed ready to fall out of their sockets. Both of them left the room, not knowing what they could do.
