Harry: "Lily: "We didn't want to wake you, dear. Your father took care of it with some extra precautions."
Sara: "More like making sure I don't wake up and cause chaos, right?"
Lily: "Never. I wouldn't presume to know anything about that."
Sara: "Oh, I know what you're doing. Trying to steal my father away."
Lily: "Please, that's absurd. Your father loves you beyond measure, more than anything in the world."
Sara: "Easy for you to say."
Lily: "Believe me, it's the truth."
Sara: "Fine. If I can't get rid of you, I might as well be honest. Let's talk, truly talk."
Lily: "A child changes everything for a man, Sara. Everyone else falls secondary."
Sara: "And what makes you such an expert?"
Lily: "Because I was a mother once. I had a daughter."
Sara: "Where is she now?"
Lily: "I thought... lost. But she's alive."
Lily left, leaving Sara stunned.
Meanwhile, at the company:
Alfred sat alone when Tom barged in, demanding George's whereabouts. Alfred held firm, denying any knowledge. As soon as Tom left, the phone rang. It was George. Alfred pressed him for his location, even demanding he sell his shares and send the money. George refused, mentioning another investment but staying vague. After the call, Alfred rushed to Carol's office, relaying everything. Carol, recognizing George's desperate escape attempt, instructed Lily to send men to the airport.
Suddenly, Carol reminisced about her past: weak, desperate, holding a blade, ready to confront George and Olivia. Just then, a man appeared, grabbing her wrist. It was Alfred. He stopped her suicide attempt, reminding her, "Revenge isn't wielded with a knife, Lily. Use your strength." He disarmed her and led her away, offering a new path.
Elsewhere, in a quiet suburb:
Mrs. Eliza rushed to open the door, surprised to see Odilea on the doorstep. They stood frozen, staring at each other for what felt like an eternity. When Odilea finally entered, her mother tried to embrace her, but Odilea recoiled.
"Curiosity only," Odilea said coldly. "Did Lily Rose speak the truth?"
Tears welled up in Mrs. Eliza's eyes, but Odilea pushed her away. Anger flared, and Odilea turned to leave. Mrs. Eliza, distraught, confessed she'd been watching from afar, unable to approach.
"Don't you see?" Odilea snapped. "Lily Rose is manipulating you! Stay away from us. I wish I came back because I missed you, but you're on the side of our enemy."
At a café, Andrew led a surprised Harry to where George was hiding.
George tried to convince Harry of his innocence, but Harry wouldn't believe him. Then, George dropped a bombshell: "The one who'll suffer most is your own daughter, Sarah. The girl you raised, the one closest to you."
Harry stood frozen, the revelation shattering his world.
Harry: "This was your plan, to involve me in your dirty game?"
George: "Rather, your aunt's plan; Olivia planned and executed it."
Lily Rose and Sarah conversed about mothers, with Sarah expressing her longing for her own mother. The discussion shifted to why Sarah harbored resentment towards the family, but Lily hesitated to reveal the painful truths and tarnish her innocence. Sarah assured Lily of her loyalty to the family, pledging to stand by them against any harm. Lily recalled her return home, the squalor she endured with Fenist, her subsequent humiliation, mirroring the rejection she faced from the Creykman family. However, a young man waited for her, expressing concern about her well-being. The present faded in as Sarah remarked, "It's like you live with two personalities, one sweet and good, and the other evil and vengeful. And I see that whoever fights monsters becomes a worse monster."
