Lily Rose and Harry stood in front of the Lily Rose Hotel, a prestigious place that bore her name. The air was thick with anticipation as they exchanged pleasantries.

"Hello," Lily Rose greeted him warmly.

"What's up?" Harry replied, his eyes transfixed on her.

"I'm okay. What about you?" she asked, noticing his intense gaze.

"Nothing," Harry said with a grin. "I'm just embracing your beauty."

Lily Rose blushed at his words and looked away shyly. "Where should we go?" she asked. "Is there a quiet place for us?"

"I will take you to a very nice place," Harry replied confidently. "It will surprise you."

"Okay," Lily Rose agreed with a smile. "I'll say yes."

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, George and his daughter Eva were in the midst of an argument.

"What's wrong with you? You seem absent-minded," George asked, concerned for his daughter's well-being.

"There's no problem, Dad. Did Mom say something weird to you again?" Eva responded with a hint of frustration in her voice.

At that moment, Olivia entered the room holding a wedding dress from Niaa's boutique that Eva had specifically told her she didn't want. "Eva, look what I will show you. Niaa finished your wedding dress," Olivia announced with a flourish.

"Mother, I don't want to talk about this anymore. I'm tired," Eva sighed, the stress of wedding preparations weighing heavily on her. "The wedding preparations are already stressful enough."

"Just see it one time, after she finished it became wonderful," Olivia persisted, holding out the dress for her daughter to see.

"It's wonderful in your eyes because you are the one who picked it for me, but it's my dress, my wedding day. It's about me, so let me decide what I want at least for once," Eva replied with a touch of exasperation.

"I worked so hard. At least take a look at it. Maybe you'll like it. It's magnificent," Olivia pleaded with her daughter.

George, Eva's father, interjected with a stern voice, "How could you be like that, Olivia?"

"Stop it, George," Olivia shot back defensively. "We're not important enough for you."

Eva left the room in frustration, leaving George and Olivia to continue their argument.

Eva left the room, feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of her upcoming wedding. George and Olivia continued to argue, with Olivia begging George not to let Lily Rose be a partner in their company.

"Can't you just relax, George? I'm telling you, everything will be better if you just look at it for a bit," Olivia said.

"Don't prolong it. You know I don't want it," George replied firmly.

"I'll ask the maid to make you some tea for your stomach. It will calm your nerves," George added, trying to ease the tension.

"I don't want your tea. I want her to leave. George, don't let Rose be a partner in our company, I beg you," Olivia pleaded.

Harry and Lily Rose drove through the busy streets of the city, the sounds of honking cars and chatter filling the air. Harry broke the silence, his voice soft and distant as he spoke of his past.

"I was in medical school. You know I was going to be a doctor. I left that behind in the final year when an old woman came for heart surgery," he said.

Lily Rose turned to him, her eyes curious. "Did she die?" she asked.

Harry shook his head. "No, no. The operation was successful, but it scared me to think that someone's life was in my hands. Then, I became a photographer."

He fell silent, lost in his thoughts, and Lily Rose didn't push him to speak further. Instead, she began to tell her own story.

"In a way, I ran away to survive. I had to find a job to stay on my feet. I went in this direction. I saw the benefits of studying at the French school. The department took care of girls like me, I stayed there for five years. I went to university then. I studied economics. Work and studies. Then, I met Mr. Bernard. Yes, he was a good man."

Harry seemed surprised by her words. "Did you see him as a very wealthy man?" he asked.

Lily Rose shook her head. "It's not what you think. He wasn't my husband. I have never been married for real. He loved me like his daughter. A year before he died, he was in critical condition. I was in charge, and I was taking care of Jim. When he died, everything was left to me. It was like magic."

The car came to a stop outside a restaurant, and Harry turned to Lily Rose. "We've arrived," he said.

Lily Rose looking at the place.

Harry: "Do you remember this place? It's changed a bit."

Lily Rose: "Almost 20 years have passed in this city. A lot has changed. But it's like time doesn't pass by here."

The restaurant owner approached them: "Welcome, Harry. Would you like to look at the counter to choose the fish?"

Harry: "Okay, if this beautiful lady accepts."

"Okay," Lily Rose said , but after she turned in the restaurant for a while, she went to Harry feeling a sense of unease. "Why did you bring me here? I don't want to remember the old days anymore," she said.

"I thought you'd like it here. But if you're uncomfortable, let's leave," Harry replied.

Lily Rose considered his words for a moment before speaking. "Where do we go?" she asked.

"I don't know. Anywhere you want," Harry replied.

Lily Rose fell silent, lost in her thoughts. She had come to meet Harry to discuss a specific matter, but now she wasn't sure if she wanted to go through with it. It was a painful memory, one that she had buried deep inside her for years.

"I thought about it, but not anymore. I see myself in another world now, and I have only one goal," she said finally.

Harry seemed confused by her words. "Maybe I didn't explain it well. I want to know what this thing is that you mentioned," he said.

Lily Rose hesitated, unsure if she was ready to open up to him. "I wanted to meet up with you because I think I told you things that you don't have to know," she said.

"On the contrary, I want to learn all the details about that night. I won't bring up the topic again, but I need a clue," Harry replied.

Lily Rose sighed, feeling a sense of resignation wash over her. "I told you already, I don't remember," she said.

Harry looked at her intently. "So think again. Remembering is crucial, please," he said.

Lily Rose closed her eyes, trying to push the memories to the forefront of her mind. She had tried to forget what had happened, but it was impossible. It had changed her life forever.

"Tell me who he was. Right now, I will go and defend you by choking whoever it is. I need to know who it was."

Lily Rose yelled at him, "I didn't expect that. You don't believe me. You're just like the others. You didn't believe me, and you thought I made it all up."

Harry replied, "I'm confused. Maybe I should listen to you. Please tell me why you went to France and what trouble you caused there."

Lily Rose said, "I trusted you and believed in you."

Harry pleaded, "Please listen to me."

Lily Rose refused, "Don't touch me."

Harry admitted, "My head is spinning, and I don't know what to believe."

As Lily Rose stormed out of the restaurant, Harry watched her go with a heavy heart. He knew he had upset her, but he couldn't help feeling frustrated by her refusal to tell him the truth. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to her story than she was letting on.
