Lizo got up and was shocked to see that Banny had been awake already, they exchanged glances and they shared no words to each other.

The plan had been set and the date, Lizo had gotten home and told Banny what Chezray had related to him and Abbey, as if Banny hadn't known how unreasonable and impatient Chezray was. When he wanted something done, it had to be carried out fast and efficiently. Banny hated that factor though. It annoyed him, but he wasn't much different to Chezray in that aspect. In fact they were both as equally impatient.

"Today is the day. Get her poisoned with vervain by the end of the day. The school corridors w
should be empty by 5pm. You are to keep her in the school for the longevity of that time and by half past 5, she should be dead."

The instructions were stern and yet Banny still seemed to take them lightly. Which was something that Lizo found odd, fully aware that Chezray doesn't like rebellious behaviour.

They started walking towards school.

"So you ain't gonna say anything?" asked Lizo finally breaking the silence. His breath visible in the air, a showing of how chilly the morning was.

Which makes sense since they were wearing scarves and gloves. Not the usual sight for people who generally couldn't get cold or sick due to their lycanthropy aspects, but to blend in with the rest of the normal people. It was a must they join in with the social convention.

"There's nothing much to say," said Banny. His eyes staring lazily at an empty space up at the grey cloudy skies.

"Seems like it's gonna rain later on," said Lizo meeting where his gaze went.

"You can smell it, can't you," Banny shifted his eyes to Lizo who now walked diagonally behind him.

"You're trying to advance with your own agendas against Chezray, aren't you?" asked Lizo putting his one finger on his chin raising his right eyebrow and staring at Banny.

"So you've been suspicious of me. At least you don't believe that I killed Alex anymore."

"I wouldn't say I completely believe that story, but for now you're safe from my speculations."

Banny shrugged and laughed, "What now?"

"Nothing much. Just gonna ask you whether you're a traitor or not, Banny."

Banny stopped walking. His back still turned to Lizo who had also stopped walking and now was staring at him. A breeze blew by as Banny opened his mouth, "And what if I am?"

He felt Lizo's arm wrap around his shoulders and Lizo's face hung over his side next to his, both of them staring forward.

"Then, I'd have to kill you," said Lizo, his voice had deepened and his tone had become more stern. His stare was focused.

"Well, then I guess that's the day both our souls go to Hell, friend," replied Banny.
His eyes closed.

Lizo's claws had been bared and Lizo flexed his hand which was now going towards Banny's neck.

Banny opened his eyes, glowing firey eyes. Eyes that generated hatred and rage. An unholy energy.

"I have claws that could paralyse an elephant, so I don't think I'll be going to Hell with you on that day," said Lizo, his eyes glowing in a green-blue neon pastel colour. A deep and dark glow, but seemed to be as blue as the Atlantic.

Banny grabbed Lizo's hand, shrugging his arm off him and he started walking again.
"Make no mistake, Lizo. I know you. If you wanted to kill me, I would've been dead by now. You're still waiting on orders from a self-centered alpha. I, on the other hand, rely on myself. I could make the move any time I wish."
