1 week later
The test series had panned out, all the members of the Disciplinary Committee had been out on their investigations on the caves. Chezray had a speedy recovery and took over for the special-grades patrols alongside Aizen. They didn't need much help, they took turns and on certain nights Chezray would enlist Abbey's help since she didn't attend any school meaning she had too much freetime on her hands during the day. Evergone was now in the time period where they could relax, but those who knew the truth of Alex Greenberg's murder were now on the edge of their seats. The information everyone had gathered was now culminating and everything was finally adding up. A chemical reaction that had been boiling for the past two months. The Full Moon was in 3 days time, the next murder would surely take place on that night. Chezray had already made sure that they would have the entire school to themselves that night, for one of three reasons:

As betas, Banny, Lizo and Abbey didn't have the choice to not go through the evolutionary transition during the Full Moon. In those forms they have animal mindsets and cannot be allowed to roam freely, so Chezray had to have a large place where he could lock them up and keep an eye on them.
The second reason being that the security on the day would be solid hard. No students would be allowed to leave the classes during the school periods and he had the special-grades on every edge of the school during the break, so the killer would not have any opportunity to do anything until the school bell rang. And with that statement, only certain classes would be allowed to leave the school at a certain time. One class after the other meaning that they could also overwatch students leaving the building.
The third reason was that the school was completely out of bounds from 3pm, because Chezray had organised for all the vampire students to stay behind. He had to speak to the head of the entire group of vampires. Sean and Dominic, he explained that the killer had to be someone of vampirism origin and they seemed very keen to help. The entire plan was coming together, everything was getting set into stone, which is what people would want, right? So why didn't it make any sense. Why was she panicking so much?

She walked through the school corridors. Slightly bumping into people, she'd say sorry, but not stop her fast pace. She held her books tightly to her chest, her hair blowing and bouncing as she took fast and long strides. Her breathing heavy, it felt as if she was being watched. Paranoia was creeping in and everything in her body jumped whenever she made physical contact with someone. Even if it was slight, she knew something that she hadn't related to anyone else. Something that only she and Elizma knew, something that added a whole new element to the equation. Throwing the entire chemical formula out of balance, something that she could not relate to anyone because of how sudden and shocking and unexpected it was. Her eyes kept to the floor infront of her. She kept moving, all she could hear was the tapping of her feet on the floor as she powerwalked. She wasn't even sure what class she was trying to get to. For all she knew she could've circled the school already. Why was her heart beating so loud. It was so loud that it sent a ringing string-like tune to her ears after every beat. Beat. After beat. After beat. After....

Nothing.

An arm, a firm grip on her forearm. She was pulled aside. Sudden. Her heart skipped several hundred beats and tried to make up for it in a sudden rush of them. Her eyes wide open, her jaw dropped. Gasping for air. Fear. It sprawled itself out onto her soul, clenching tightly on her insides, like a little child clinging onto it's mother. She was then placed on her feet.

"What's wrong?"

Her entire body felt a weird sensation. Almost like it ran down from her temples to her toes, resonating with every cell in her being. Was this the feeling of familiarity? A sudden sanctuary after a moment of terror and freight. Is this how it felt to have all the darkness in your way get shredded in mere seconds? That voice which called out to her, the voice which she now knew. She looked at Banny, her eyes still wide open. Shock? No, just suprise.
