Chioma was taken aback. So much so that her face had turned into a bright red, her mouth open and her eyes staring aimlessly. A frown of confusion had grown onto her face until she finally managed to speak.
A smile had found it's way on her face and she blinked rapidly, slightly tilting her head before saying, "Huh?"

Banny looked at her, the significance of what she replied to his heartfelt confession was all too underwhelming, he frowned at her. He let go of her wrist and tried to compose himself, he couldn't let his emotions overrun again.
"Is that all?" he asked.

"Huh?"

He gritted his teeth, in that moment as anger spurred in his chest, but he kept it down and he spoke again, "Is that all you have to say?"

"Huh? What?"

Banny frowned again. He looked over her shoulder towards the school and sighed, "Never mind. I should probably start getting ready for the transition."

He turned around and started walking towards the bag that he tossed on the bench. He picked it up and opened the zip, taking out the bottle of wolf'sbane. It was a quarter filled, but it would suffice. He started speaking, assuming that Chioma was listening, but again. He could've just been talking to himself since she was silent with no reply.
He turned around and then she was right there, right infront of him. He almost stumbled backwards out of shock and he fell into a sitting position on the bench. She leaned down, her arms holding onto his legs as support as she looked at him.

"I'll only say yes if you make it out alive," she said in a stern voice.

"Then I'll come back alive," he said.

"No. Promise me that you won't die here today."

He stood there for a second and stared at her, his eyes glistening as the sun set. He found himself leaning back and then said, "I pinky swear."

She got up and said, "I don't trust those. Long story, just promise me that you-"

She was caught off guard as Banny grabbed her wrist and lifted it. He wrapped his right pinky around hers and then smiled at her, "I pinky swear that I won't die. I'll come back to you."

For 6 years now, pinky promises had meant nothing to her. She actually disliked them for how many times people had broken them when she was a child. But in that moment something was different, almost as if she were ready to throw away all those past events if he in specific kept that promise.

She smiled and leaned in close as just before she did what she planned to, she whispered, "I hope this buys me time."

She kissed him, right on the cheek. She got up and pranced away as he stared shocked. She had quoted exactly what he had said a few weeks prior, when he had asked her to be patient with him. He stood there almost in disbelief, touching his cheek gently as if to check if it were still there.
He snapped himself back into focus and he got up.

Lizo took his shirt off, entering the Hall with Abbey. His body has started to form muscle definition and abs due to his newly acquired basic bodyweight exercise routine. He had made sure that he had at least worn his elastic trousers. He used his feet to shove off his shoes, sitting down on the newly polished wooden floor to pull his socks off. Chezray opened the door to the hall and saw Lizo pulling off his last sock, before he got off and unbuckled his belt, taking off his pants. Chezray struck Abbey a look when he noticed her staring at Lizo, she registered this and rolled her eyes at him. Chezray started buckling up the chains on the far end of the hall, he threw the shackles at Lizo, who caught them. He looked towards Abbey who had already almost fully stripped, leaving herself in tights and a sports bra. The shackles themselves were extreme. They had screws that you would drill and twist into your wrist to make sure they don't fall out and for Abbey, Chezray even got her a collar chain with a similar design. Lizo put the shackles on, on both his ankles and wrists. Chezray was the one to twist them. The screws digging into his flesh, drawing blood from the wounds that were being forced open. Lizo kept a strong face, he knew that he pain that he was feeling now was nothing compared to the pain that he would feel during the evolution.
