Chioma rocked up at the apartment and Lizo opened the door.
"Oh, it's you," he said staring at her and then he took a step back.

She looked at him.

"Don't give me that look, I told you that it wasn't anything personal," said Lizo scratching his head.

"Is Banny home?" she asked.

"He's in his room."

Chioma walked right passed him and opened the door to Banny's room. She stared at him. He was sitting up on his bed and had earphones in his ears. He was holding his sketchpad and was drawing something on it. He was singing to himself.

"Given you all you want and more, given you every piece of me. I don't want love I can't afford, I just want you to love for free."

"Nice singing," she said.
She giggled as she saw his sudden panick when he realised that he was there and he took his earphones off.

"Hi," he said staring at her, he flipped his sketchpad over.

"What you got there?" she asked as she walked over to the bed.
She sat on the bed beside him.

"N-nothing," he slipped the pad on his side.

Chioma stretched over him, "Let me see!!"

She was ontop of him, he stared at her. His face lighting up. She grabbed the sketchpad and looked at it. A drawing of a heart, a skull that transitioned to a flower.

She looked down at him and realised that she was on him.
"You know, you look oddly cute from down there," she said.

He was silent.

She sensed no thoughts from him.
She smiled, "How are you this shy?"
She poked his face, and she giggled. He tried getting up ad she placed her hands on his shoulders.
"Calm down," she smiled, "You know, this reminds me of a dream I had."

"Chioma, I thought I said we couldn't be together," he stuttered.

"I can read your mind, my love. I know you don't want that."

"W-what do I want then?"

"You're asking me?" she placed her hand over her mouth and laughed.

She got off him and then looked at the sketchpad, "What's the motive behind this drawing?"

"What do you mean?"

"All art has a background, what's the background between this?"

"I don't know... I referenced that, I saw it once and decided to try redraw it," he said looking at her.

"You know, your thoughts are quite explicit," she said.

"Sorry, just having a hormonal day," he said placing his hand on his head.

"I heard what happened at school today, you okay?" she asked looking at him, obviously worried.

He got out of bed, and Chioma realised that he wasn't actually wearing a shirt. She assumed the bandages were clothing. He started undoing them, revealing his clear chest, no scars. No nothing.
"I'm fine. Sean just attacked me over a bet. Nothing personal, so no need for me to try get revenge or anything."

"Banny, you know you can ask me anything, right?" she said looking at him.

He knew what she was referring to, but he wasn't going to ask. He wasn't even going to attempt to ask, he knew how it would turn out. He wanted to, he really did.

"You deserve better," that was all he could manage to say, "You honestly do."

He walked over to her and took his sketchpad. She smiled and looked up at him, "How is Snow?"
