If Bill doesn't fix this whole problem in at least two days, I'm getting on the nearest flight back home.

As I said bye to Clark and left with my luggage, I called up my one and only Alex.

Ringing Alex...

"Hello Rose!" He spoke happily into the phone.

"Hi! Could you take me to the airport?" I say in a pleading voice.

"Oh of course! On my way." He hung up the phone.

I sat outside for only about five minutes.

Tom

Tom: u comin?

Rose: idk maybe

Alex pulls up and I get into the passenger seat and set my bag in the back.

"Moving up to first class huh?" Alex laughs, meaning as I'm sitting in the front instead of the back.

"Well of course!" I laugh back.

For the two hours it took me to get to the airport, Alex and I bonded more.

I told him everything between Bill and I, even how we met, how I purposefully made him jealous, all the memories we shared, and he acted like he was my girl best friend with the ouhs and ahs and 'girllll'. He made me feel like there was no judgement with him.

He even shared some stories about him and his wife, he even has a little girl named Molly. She was adorable,

"Alex you wouldn't even believe how good his voice was, I was legitimately dying." I'm boasting to him about Bill.

"Girl you know he's in love with you, do you speak german?" He asks.

"No, but he said something to me in german I just never knew what it was." I laugh.

"Here, I speak a little german so tell me what it sounded like and I'll tell you what he said." He repositions his hands on the steering wheel.

"Uh it sounded like.. Ick leeb dick." I say trying not to laugh more. (Ich liebe dich = I love you)

"Awh! Ray he said I love you in german!" He sounded happy and excited for me.

I smiled at the thought of Bill saying that to me.

He loved me.

I knew he did, even though he's an ass.

Man, reminiscing on all the memories with him made me miss him more.

I hope I wouldn't regret my decision to go see him.

"Here you are m'lady!" Alex says to me as he pulls in front of the airport.

"Thank you so much Alex, I'll make sure to keep in contact!" I give him a fast hug before I get out of the car, getting my bag out of the back.

I watch him drive off, and then I turn to go into the airport.

I sit in the chairs, they're so uncomfortable I don't know how people sleep in these.

It's like I'm sitting on a piece of paper with plastic on top.

I just put one earbud in as I waited for them to call my boarding flight.

I hold your ladder in my frozen hand

The last line was long

As long as it burns

My look carrie's on.
